First there were pap photos of their jet-ski adventure, then the rumor that they're writing a sister comedy, and most recently, their first official public appearance presenting at the Golden Globes. This is just the beginning. We are merely on the cusp of the Age of ASchu.
The OITNB cast members first met at Juilliard before their Netflix series inspired countless binge-watching sessions. Since then they've weathered the fame whirlwind they were swept up in together, noting their gratitude for having an on-set support system in an Essence interview.
These SNL alums have been friends for more than two decades. Their dynamic is so sought after that it's difficult to picture one without the other.
After surviving five seasons of Game of Thrones, these girls affectionately refer to their friendship as Mophie, their BFF couple nickname (see: KenGi = Kendall + Gigi). You might see the hashtag on their 'grams when they're hitting red-carpet events, blue steeling before a night out, or just hamming it up in a selfie.
The problem with many tight-knit friendships is that they're often deterred by significant others. Kendrick saw no such obstacle when it came to Blunt's husband, John Krasinski. She unabashedly challenged him on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle, singing One Direction's "Steal My Girl" and wearing a T-shirt with a heart-shaped picture of her and his wife on it. The low-budget equivalent to that moment would be declaring your BFF as your wife on FB.
It's undeniable that the girls of Pretty Little Liars share a unique bond. But Benson and Mitchell, better known to their fans as ButtahBenzo, are a little tighter than the other three members of their crew. They hit Milan together, shop for the holidays together, and even take naps between takes together.
These ladies were like the Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon of their SNL cast: completely unencumbered by their insecurities and zany enough to embody the most memorable characters. It's not surprising that they continued to work together even after they left the show, starring in 2011's Bridesmaids and 2015's miniseries The Spoils Before Dying.

Comedians Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson may share the same names as their characters, but their fictional friendship is even more fun to watch. You know Abbi would probably do much better if Ilana didn't continuously rope her into awkward or illegal activities. But without her, Abbi would never try anything new or stand up for herself. Ilana is less like a BFF and more like that voice in your head that alternates between telling you to do bad things and encouraging you to do brave things.
Polar opposites—one motivated and responsible and the other aimless and reckless—yet neither can survive without the other. Case in point: This season while Jess was sequestered for a grand jury, Cece drunkenly purchased a light-up wedding dress and failed to prevent Nick, their mutual friend, from accidentally prostituting himself to an Airbnb guest.
GG fans are well aware that Lane Kim is to Rory what Sookie St. James is to Lorelai, but when you think about the most memorable female duo of that series, you can't help but picture the lead characters. They were a mother-daughter team one could only aspire to, with more open communication and dependence than the norm. Not to mention, actresses Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel were verbal assassins, impressively firing off more witty insights in 30 seconds than most TV shows have in 30 minutes.
Leslie's intense appreciation for Anne is an extreme representation of a type of female friendship that could be considered borderline stalking. While some women are guilty of scrapbooking every memory they've shared or threatening to harm anyone who should hurt their friends, inventing the holiday Galentine's Day (a friend appreciation day that takes place February 13, naturally) is pushing it.
They look like the human incarnation of Barbie and Christie (the first African-American Barbie)—flawless and fashionable. When they're not shopping for new wardrobes or complaining about their love interests, they're tag-team shaming Amber and hatching romantic schemes.
Maggie discovers that her husband is cheating on her midpregnancy, so her best friend, a world-traveling businesswoman, quits her job and moves to the suburbs to help her raise the baby. No judgment if you can't even process that sentence. Perhaps one day you'll meet someone who would alter their entire life for you.
For most of the series, Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen were pegged against each other, their friendship stunted by jealousy, secrecy, and one polarizing, fluffy-haired Brooklyn kid. Blair's only real source of comfort was her maid, Dorota. Sure, Blair barked at her relentlessly, and Dorota often griped catty quips under her breath, but they were more supportive and understanding of one another than most of the couples.
A straight-laced FBI agent and a foul-mouthed Boston cop find common ground long enough to solve a big case, in spite of their abject hatred of each other. They're never more entertaining than when they're at odds, but by the end, they develop a rhythm that promises a future filled with #girlpower.

Originally conceived as a web series the television comedy " Broad City " has gone on to critical and pop culture acclaim.
The wildly funny show is helmed by creators and actors Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and tracks their fictional misadventures through New York City as they navigate their twenties. Through bedbug infestations, hurricane parties, and dog weddings their friendship is unbreakable.
On top of being outstanding comediennes in their own right, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have a long list of shared projects including "Mean Girls," "Baby Mama," and "Sisters."
