Federico Gutierrez was born in Medellin in 1974. He is an ex-mayor. Since 2003 , he has begun his political career as a councilor of his home town, and is designated as the Municipal Youth Councilor as well as Municipal Planning Councilor for Medellin. Gutierrez is a Civil Engineer by profession, who graduated from the University of Medellin and, from the same university he holds a Specialization degree in Management Senior and a second in Political Science from the Pontifical Bolivarian University.
