I've heard terms thrown around like crazy. Fat, chubby, pudgy, plump... is there any defining traits for any these?
Like, what I consider to be... "chubby" is a girl who's certainly not thin, but she's not fat.. still goes in at the waist, but has extra padding. Is that considered fat? Because fat to me is like... rounded everywhere, no waist, jiggling and the like. For instance, and I know she's used constantly, but bear with me: Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, WITH a girdle, and she wasn't considered fat in the slightest. She had a phenomenal body.
You see, but curvy is always used to describe thin women who just happen to have boobs and a butt. There isn't actually an ounce of fat anywhere but in the right places.
Chubby- Overweight..but not to the extreme.
Pudgy- Overweight but with a little shape to where they can still feel attractive in some things..
Plump- Thick. A little extra meat but just more cushion for the pushin type of things lol.
But a lot of the time..used to describe the same thing...

Curvy would mean to have CURVES not bulges.
Fat women, chubby women, pudgy women, are not curvy. Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, ... they're curvy.
Now to be polite I'd just say volumptious.
Personally I think all of the terms are the same .... except for 'fat'. Being chubby just means you have a little extra but you can still look really fabulous. Pudgy ... you should really think about loosing some weight before you become plump ... if you are plump .... go to the GYM. Once you become fat, then ... haha I dunno. Let's just hope you don't reach obesiety especially morbid obesiety.
Curvy= NO rolls. Bigger chest and wider hips. Fat on the backside. Small waist in comparison Plump/chubby= Small gut, bigger than normal upper arms, thighs. Usually 10-20 pounds overweight. Nothing a small diet can't fix. Fat= Over 30-35 pounds overweight. Rolls hanging out over jeans. Usually a double/triple chin. Not a pretty site to look at If this continues, health problems can result.
Chubby- Like baby-fat kind of chubby
Pudgy- The fat kid at school (sounds like piggy to me, maybe that's why)
Plump- Pleasantly round, curvy, but not how you describe curvy
PLump - not as many roles but still fat

Curvy still has a flat stomach and small waist in comparison to the rest of the body. Plump chubby and plain fat are all the same thing. They have rolls and double chins and dimplie arms. Gross.
They are all just slang for the same thing. Someone is deciding that whoever is over weight and feel they have to put a label on it. Usually, what they should be doing is looking in a mirror and dealing with their own insecurities. As for Marilyn, I agree with you, but in today's society she would be considered over weight.
Everyone's definition is different. It depends on your preference. Guys who like stick thin girls would think any girl with a little meat on her bones if FAT!
will kill you if you steal there food=fat
will hurt you alot if you steal there food=plumb
will just roll around and ccy if you steal there food=pudgy
if you steal there food they might actually catch you=chubby
if you steal there food they will just fall on you=uber fats
