Fars: Iran has deployed a new ballistic missile in an underground complex

Iran has deployed the Khorramshahr-4 long-range ballistic missile in a new underground missile complex. This was reported by the Fars news agency, which is close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The missile has a range of up to 2,000 km.

According to the publication’s estimates, its warhead can carry more than one tonne of explosives. The 13-metre-long missile is equipped with a heavy warhead weighing about 1.5 tonnes.

The new underground complex is controlled by the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and was opened on 4 February.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with “bad measures” if it resumed its nuclear programme.
