Family of Seven Evacuates via Shopping Cart, Breaks World Record

<p><strong>QAZVIN �</strong> A local family has made headlines and broken a Guinness World Record by evacuating Tehran using a single shopping cart and a firm commitment to reckless optimism. The Jafari family of seven�two adults, four children, and one unusually compliant grandma�began their exodus on foot and ended it triumphantly in the back of a supermarket lot in Qazvin.</p> <p>�We couldn�t afford a car, the bus was full, and camels are now surge pricing,� said father Reza. �So, we did what we had to do�we got a cart.�</p> <p>Neighbors helped load the cart with essentials: lavash, a blanket, and one Bluetooth speaker that never stopped playing Enrico Macias. Little Mahdieh steered from the front with a selfie stick and sheer willpower.</p> <p>The family was cheered by bystanders as they crossed Highway 2, earning applause, video coverage, and a certificate from a local Guinness affiliate who may or may not have been drunk.</p> <p>The Iranian Department of Transportation issued a statement reading, �While we do not condone unauthorized cart usage, we do respect innovation.�</p> <p>Reza later told reporters, �If we can do it, anyone can�except maybe people with real luggage.�</p> <p>When asked what�s next, the family replied, �Well, there�s a Carrefour in Rasht.
