Family foster care

Foster care is the figure that grants the custody of a minor to a person or family nucleus, on a temporary basis, whose obligations are, with respect to the minor, those of guardianship: to watch over the minor, keep him in his company, feed him , educate him and provide him with comprehensive training.

The purpose is to integrate the minor into a family life that temporarily complements his or her natural life, regardless of whether or not the parents are deprived, totally or partially, of parental authority, or it has been suspended.
