I stayed at the Nudist Resort for one night a the Sand Spur Inn. Great facility and room. Everyone there was very kind and open. Played Volleyball in the pool with other nudist that were wanting to have clothes free fun as well. They have their own restaurant and bar where the food is good (service just a tad slow) and games to play in the bar like darts. Overall i really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a week in Florida. 3 days here. (3 days at nearby Paradise Lakes) We like Lake Como the best! We are AANR members and accustomed to social nudity. Good conversation around the pool. Good homey bar for night activity. We will be back.. In fact we already have reservations for volleyball week March 2018. This is our kind of place.

Lake Como's nature trails are wonderful, and is the only nudist park in central Florida with nature trails. Water volleyball is popular here and it's great fun, they play for fun only and anyone can play. They also have a nice tennis facility and pickle ball courts. There is also a bar called the Butt Hutt and a new restaurant that is supposed to open soon. The bar has entertainment on the weekends. If you want to relax this is a great place for that too. Lounge by the pool or the lake shore beach.

The location and amenities are good. However, there is no restaurant and their food trailer is open sparingly. Wi-Fi is free and available...when reception is possible. "Well, it's free," says Sha the resort manager. We were accepted as residents by contract November of last year. The snowbirds arrived and we were moved to the overflow area due to the lot we were renting being previously rented during winter months. Mid-April we received a letter to upgrade our camper to a 2010 or newer or be out by May 1, 2017 as new policy would be implemented. We addressed the Board about the situation and they backed their manager despite our previously accepted lease. Also, our membership expired in March. We were given a choice of paying all fees (including daily grounds fees) or renewing …

Lake Como is everything we wanted from a naturist spot: beautiful scenery, kind people, and most importantly, rest. The tour was great and the grounds are well-kept. We could only stay during the day because they were booked, but we'd happily go again.

This was our second trip to Lake Como for their annual Superbowl South Volleyball Tournament and we had just as great of time as last year! We tented for the weekend since during the tournament, the rooms get sold out a year or more in advance! Be sure to bring an extension cord so your can get to the few power boxes around the camping area to your tent site. The tenting area is close to the entrance and runs next to the lake that Como is situated on. It's not too long of a walk to get to the nearest bath house and during the tournament they have porta potties right there (an area to avoid setting up your tent!) The pool is nice and sits right on the lake with some very nice views. I hadn't noticed people smoking at the pool like so many others have mentioned but I don't think …

My wife and I spent one week here in the Sandspur rooms. Nice rooms but limited facilities for long stays; e.g. refrigerator but no microwave or table. OK for a night or two but longer I suggest looking at a cabin. Also the cabins looked a little bit more private. We loved the site, especially the long nature trails around the lake, the huge spotlesssly clean hot tub and the swimming pool.

We recently visited Lake Como for the weekend while they were celebrating 20 years as a Co-Op. The front staff was friendly and very welcoming. The room we got was nice, clean, and you can tell the cleaning staff took great care to ensure the room was clean. There was free beer and food for all who visited. We were taken on a tour of the facility and we met and spoke to alot of friendly people. That Saturday was a great day. However, Sunday came. All of the friendly people must have been visitors. Everyone seemed to have a scowl on their faces. We would speak and they would grudgingly speak. At the pool, a few people socialized among themselves but not to anyone that they didn't know. Husband said this was the most unfriendliest crowd we had encountered at a nudist resort. Even …

It's a nice place to be nude, most people are friendly. You can do what you want as far as activities or nothing. Bring your own food because the restaurant is in its 3rd Year of being built and the little chuck wagon is not always open. They have port a potties which could be cleaned more often. My biggest disappointment was when we went to the pool and has to endure second hand smoke and people bringing ash trays to the pool side and swim with a cigarette in there hand. This surprised me because most places, nude or not do not allow smoking within the pool area especially when you advertise family and children welcome. It is not socially expectable and in most states against the law to smoke around children in cars or public places. I found it also Strange that the want you to …
