Some are fast, some are furious, and one is fake.
CarBuzz Real or Fake is back, and this time it's all about how fast and furious you can spot the b.s. Those of you that live in a cave likely missed the debut of the "Furious 7" trailer . As of writing, the trailer is a few days old and already has many million views. The franchise is now seven films long, which means plenty of fun facts have piled up along the way. Below you'll find four interesting tidbits from the franchise, one of which is complete crap. Let us know which one you think is the fake in the polls and comments section. Have fun!
You'd think that to be in a movie about cars you'd need a license. Well, that didn't stop Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster from being cast in the first film. (The jokes practically write themselves here.) No one likes going to the DMV, especially in California. That being said, I bet your 16-year-old self would've killed to have taken a license test on Tuesday and shoot "The Fast and the Furious" on Wednesday.
Many folks take to social media to suggest who should play who in such-and-such a film. Many, many more people whine about casting decisions via social media. Remember when Ben Affleck was picked to play Batman? (we're still trying to wrap our heads around that one.) However, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has Facebook to thank for getting him his role in the Fast & Furious franchise. One of Vin Diesel's Facebook fans suggested that he should do a film with The Rock. If only Stone Cold or John Cena was so lucky.
Do you ever stop and think about what happened to Jesse's Jetta from "The Fast and the Furious"? Would you have guessed that it became Frankie Muniz's, aka Malcolm from "Malcolm in the Middle," first car? That's right: The child star turned racer bought the car as his very first ride. He had more than enough money to do so, and after all, buying Jesse's Jetta isn't going to run you a cool $1.37 mil like Paul Walker's "Fast & Furious" (the fourth one) GT-R.
Paul Walker never scared anyone come Oscar season, but it's undeniable that the Fast & Furious films wouldn't and won't be the same without him. That being said, can you imagine Brian O'Connor being played by Freddie Prinze Jr.? The two starred in "She's All That" and Prinze Jr. had the lead role in "The Fast and the Furious" wrapped up before leaving it due to money demands. Hey, Freddie, how's that Scooby-Doo franchise working out for ya?
How do you think you did? Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster were not legally permitted to operate a motor vehicle at the time of them being cast in their roles. F&F executives could smell what The Rock was cooking after one of his Facebook fans suggested he would be perfect for the film and Frankie Muniz did score himself Jesse's Jetta for around $100,000. That means Freddie Prinze Jr. never left the role of Brian O'Conner because he never had it. The Scooby-Doo franchise worked out just fine for him, he is worth $19 million dollars. If you guessed this was the false story treat yourself with a ticket to FF7.

There's one feature in the Santa Cruz we really don't like.

Critics Consensus: Sleek and shiny on the surface, The Fast and the Furious recalls those cheesy teenage exploitation flicks of the 1950s.
Synopsis: Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) enjoys the adrenaline of street car racing and his fans treat him like a rock star.... [More]
Critics Consensus: Beautiful people and beautiful cars in a movie that won't tax the brain cells.
Synopsis: This sequel focuses on ex-police officer Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), who relocates from Los Angeles to Miami to start over.... [More]
Critics Consensus: While Fast and Furious features the requisite action and stunts, the filmmakers have failed to provide a competent story or compelling characters.
Synopsis: When a crime brings them back to the mean streets of Los Angeles, fugitive ex-convict Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and... [More]
Critics Consensus: Sleek, loud, and over the top, Fast Five proudly embraces its brainless action thrills and injects new life into the franchise.
Synopsis: Ever since ex-cop Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Torretto (Jordana Brewster) broke her brother Dom (Vin Diesel) out of... [More]
Critics Consensus: With high-octane humor and terrific action scenes, Fast & Furious 6 builds upon the winning blockbuster formula that made Fast 5 a critical and commercial success.
Synopsis: Since Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian's (Paul Walker) heist in Rio left them and their crew very rich people, they've... [More]
Critics Consensus: Eye-popping driving sequences coupled with a limp story and flat performances make this Drift a disappointing follow-up to previous Fast and Furious installments.
Synopsis: Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) always feels like an outsider, but he defines himself through his victories as a street racer.... [More]
Critics Consensus: Serving up a fresh round of over-the-top thrills while adding unexpected dramatic heft, Furious 7 keeps the franchise moving in more ways than one.

Critics Consensus: The Fate of the Furious opens a new chapter in the franchise, fueled by the same infectious cast chemistry and over-the-top action fans have come to expect.
Synopsis: With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has... [More]
Critics Consensus: Hobbs & Shaw doesn't rev as high as the franchise's best installments, but gets decent mileage out of its well-matched stars and over-the-top action sequences.
Synopsis: Brixton Lorr is a cybernetically enhanced soldier who possesses superhuman strength, a brilliant mind and a lethal pathogen that could... [More]
Critics Consensus: F9 sends the franchise hurtling further over the top than ever, but director Justin Lin's knack for preposterous set pieces keeps the action humming.
Synopsis: Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but... [More]

You wouldn’t expect a burly international action franchise like Fast & Furious to have the most complicated timeline. Then again, who predicted the 2001 original about some humble street racing would witness its sequels dragging bank vaults across asphalt, jumping out of planes, sliding off submarines, and likely soon making contact with alien life in deep space?
Some of these Fast & Furious sequels are set later in the timeline, even though they were made earlier than others. To watch the F&F movies in chronological order as the events unfolded, you can still start with the first two: The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious . Tokyo Drift is the third in the series but actually set way later in the timeline, so you’ll want to skip that and jump to Fast & Furious , Fast Five , and Fast & Furious 6 . Then you can watch Tokyo Drift .
After that, hop to franchise best Furious 7 . Follow it up with The Fate of the Furious and spin-off Hobbs & Shaw and then the latest: F9 .

During the past decade, we have seen the spread of social media and a new freedom to communicate, the rise of fake news and increasingly furious conversations held by frustrated individuals. Right now, media business models are still in question, governance mechanisms and ethics are eroding, and people are on a constant journey of discovery — but also in despair over being lost in the landscape.
Can you remember the beginning of this millennium? We were subscribing to a stable set of print publications. We were watching TV together. Search results were non-commercial and a matter of using a computer. Do you remember AltaVista, Yahoo!, and Ask Jeeves?. And it was still seven years until Apple launched the first iPhone.
When we launched Leidar on October 18 th 2010, we had the idea of creating an international boutique consultancy with a dedicated presence or partners in the world’s capitals of influence. We developed our own “Leadership Navigation” methodology. And we built the mechanisms to deliver seamlessly across offices and competencies, spanning strategy, visual, digital, and engagement services.
At the same time, we wanted to be a learning consultancy with a point of view, and we have invested a lot of time into providing insights and perspectives. So when we now celebrate our first ten years, what is more natural than looking back on what we put on the agenda during the first ten years?
Without blowing our own horn too much, we can safely say we took some clear and increasingly relevan
