Select how you want to reset your password and click Continue . The options you see vary based on what type of information you previously provided to Facebook.

If you've associated one or more email addresses with the account, you'll see the option to receive a password reset code via email. As long as you have access to log in to the provided email address(es), you'll be able to recover your account.
If there's a phone number connected to your account, you'll see the option to receive a code via SMS. Select that option as long as you have access to that phone number.
You may see other options, including the option to sign in using a Google account.

Check your email or text messages. Facebook will send you a code you can use to reset your password to the email or phone number associated with the account.
If you selected No longer have access to these? you will be asked to try signing in again. If you are not able to do so and don't have access to the email address provided, click I Cannot Access My Email . At this point, you will only be able to regain access to your account if you are able to regain access to the email address or phone number associated with your account so you can receive the confirmation code.
