Los hombres de Fuerzas de Operaciones Especiales deben ser vistos, evaluados y tratados como atletas de alto rendimiento, no con la idea de insertarlo en un deporte en particular porque ser FOE ya es una disciplina no deportiva que requiere un perfil físico y psicológico particular.

Intentar convertir a un FOE en un atleta puede, casi con toda seguridad, terminar en un bajo rendimiento en las actividades FOE.

Lamentablemente, en Argentina, debido al desinterés del Estado por las Fuerzas Armadas y al bajo nivel de ingresos de los institutos militares, junto con un régimen muy laxo, la calidad de los perfiles de los FOE es baja a nivel físico y psicológico.

Los llamamos «comandos de la era de cristal».

Revertir esta situación nefasta a nivel FOE es de interés estratégico nacional y requerirá mínimo 10 años y cambios profundos en la gestión de recursos militares.
