▪️An enemy operation to implant and use malware on the mobile devices of high-ranking Russian officials was documented. This malware was used to obtain sensitive information, eavesdrop on conversations, and conduct covert acoustic and video surveillance near the devices.

"Using the technical capabilities of major international IT corporations, representatives of foreign intelligence agencies used mobile communications to collect various types of unauthorized information from the devices of cyberattack targets. The FSB's Investigative Department has opened a criminal case under Articles 272 (unauthorized access to computer information) and 273 (creation, use, and distribution of malware) of the Russian Criminal Code," the FSB reports.

▪️The investigation is ongoing. The FSB warns that foreign intelligence agencies are using modern information technology, including mobile communications, for destructive purposes; discussing confidential information near such devices is unacceptable.
