FPGA Design Engineer

Cyprus, Larnaca | full-time | 3500-4500 EUR gross

An international company that has been developing in the market of products for telecommunications and Internet companies for more than 20 years is looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join its team in Larnaca (Cyprus).

The company successfully produces effective solutions and products, such as interception and analysis of communications, positioning of cellular communications, protection systems of telecommunication resources and much more.

Such advanced solutions allow rapid response services to operate with up-to-date information, on which life and safety issues often depend.

Your tasks:

• Implementation of algorithms in FPGA
• Modeling of FPGA-implemented structures and algorithms
• Testing of implemented algorithms on test benches using engineering tools
• Maintenance of technical documentation about the project

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in developing complex and large-scale FPGA systems
• Knowledge of digital circuitry
• Deep understanding of the principles of building digital communication systems
• Knowledge of at least one hardware description language (VHDL, Verilog, etc.)
• Ability to work with version control systems
• Bachelor’s degree 
• English B2+

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Xilinx tools
• Knowledge of cellular standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G)
• Experience with mobile and radio DSP
• Knowledge of French
