FLASHING METHODS:
π Clean Flash: Clean flash of a new ROM classic method, recommended always.

ROM VARIANTS TERMS:
Gapps ROM: ROMs that have Google Apps installed by default.
Vanilla ROM: ROMs that don't have Google Apps, but can be installed
FLASHING TERMS:
Firmware: Used for installing AOSP ROMs, Miui/HyperOS normally do not require this,
This only weighs approximately 70MB
It's a common mistake think installing full ROM (5-7GB) it's like firmware (70mb)
Rom: Generally a GB.zip file containing the custom rom images
Recovery: Phone recovery or updater system, a custom recovery can be used for several functions such as installing ROMs or delete user or phone data
Gapps: Installable Google apps suite, there are different brand, The most recommended ones are NikGapps and BitGapps
Example: Nikgapps Full, Nikgapps Omni, Nikgapps basic, Nikgapps Core
Gapps Core: These are variants of GApps brands, Core is usually the smallest variant, with only a few Google apps.

RO2RW: Used for the installation of GApps, without it, it is not possible (for now)

ROMS NAMES:

Example: EvolutionX, InfinityX, Crdroid, AxionOS, etc
ππMIUI/HYPEROS ROM: Custom ROMs based on MIUI or HyperOS versions.

ROM LEVELS:

Example: Stock ROM or some Miui/hyperos Custom Roms, not available in AOSP

βοΈπ¨ EDL: Your device enters EDL mode (Emergency Download Mode) only when the system has made critical changes (Caused by bad flashing, uncontrolled rooting, wrong flash) as a measure of complete flashing, this is very rare, but extremely dangerous
π οΈπ¨β‘ EDL FLASH: Flashing in EDL usually requires a paid service (people who are authorized to do those services) or using a bypass (it may work)
