FINNS AGAINST GUARANTEES TO UKRAINE
Politico writes that Finland called on the United States not to provide Ukraine with security guarantees similar to Article 5 of NATO.
According to Helsinki, this could undermine the principle of collective defense and create a false impression of NATO's direct participation in the agreements.:
"The risk is that Russia will test the reality of these guarantees, and the failure of countries to respond will undermine the credibility of Article 5 itself."
Of course, Russia is asleep and sees how to poke a stick at NATO and see if they respond or not. This is so typical of Russia, isn't it?
