I got the app, what should I do now?
Well, just enjoy it. FDE.AI is designed to be maximally automatic, so just let AI do the job.
You can customize FDE.AI additionally as per your needs in settings. For detailed settings description just long-press on any settings button.
To additionally optimize your system you can type "/extraopt" or "/extraopt everything" in AI chat. This will take some time (from 1min to 1h or longer) to optimize all app's code cache to reduce further CPU load while using apps. This is a 'heavy' task which consumes battery and may make your device heat but is done only once for a better further experience.
You may also try new agressive AI mode. With this mode enabled, AI extends it's real-time tuning options and trades more performance or powersaving for various usage scenarios. Can be activated via "/aggressiveai on" command in AI chat. This is experimental, if you have bad results with this option on - just disable it.
How do I set the app for ultimate gaming?
AI mode: performance OR enable agressive AI mode & keep on balance.
Enable constant game boost (constatnly boosts some known heavy games, type "/gamelist" into the AI chat to find out which these are. You also can add your own games.)
Disable thermal throttling - phone will overheat but will work on max performance, be careful.(If you do care about overheating, then leave this off) OR with agressive AI mode it will automatically disable throttling just for the time you play a heavy game & re-enable it back when you've done playing.
(optional) Enable all build.prop tweaks - select the Niko's GPU and netowork tweaks (depends on ROM/device, so try & see yourself which is better)
How do I set the app for casual day to day use?
Just stick with default FDE.AI settings & make sure AI mode is adaptive
How do I set the app for best powersaving?
AI mode: powersave OR enable agressive AI mode & keep on balance.
Force doze: on
How do I disable the AI?
In settings disable "realtime AI optimization" (but without this, FDE.AI won't be as useful).
What is FPS monitor for?
Consider it as a type of benchmark. Its description is on FPS page. And no, it will not gain or reduce performance at all - it's just a measure tool.
