FC Seoul's Legend Osmar 9 Years Together We Will Treat the Legend with All Respect

His presence was more than that of a foreign player. Osmar, who joined Seoul in 2014, played in a total of 344 games for FC Seoul over a total of 9 seasons until this season, excluding his loan to Cerezo Osaka in Japan's J-League in 2018, scoring 25 points and providing 12 assists.

In 2016, he served as the first foreign captain in the history of the Seoul club. 

This season, they also broke the record for the most appearances by foreigners in Seoul.

He was reborn as a player who symbolizes Seoul.

It was a difficult decision. Seoul is at the center of change with the appointment of coach Kim Ki-dong ahead of this season.

In the process of organizing the team ahead of a new challenge, I finished accompanying Osmar. 

A Seoul official expressed regret, saying, “It was a decision made after careful consideration because he was a player who symbolized the team.”

Osmar completed the Korean Football Association (KFA) B-level leadership training that began on the 7th and returned to his home country.
