FAQ
1. What changes have been made from the previous update?
This build addresses all previously reported bugs, including kernel-side issues causing jittering on the Snapdragon 680. We've implemented several under-the-hood tweaks to enhance performance, focusing on:
Fixing Always-On Display (AOD) effects, which were absent in the stock Spes ROM.
Resolving UI lag for a smoother experience.
Improving gaming and playback performance.
Reducing device overheating.
Optimizing battery life.
Each app has been fine-tuned, and the device is set to prioritize performance while maintaining a smooth UI.
2. Why do all customizations look the same in every build?
We use injection methods to add mods, as manually implementing them for each build is extremely time-consuming. This approach ensures consistency and efficiency while delivering the customizations you expect.
3. Why aren’t new mods being added?
We’ve included more than enough mods in this build. Adding new ones isn’t a priority, as we’re focused on stability and performance rather than catering to "Kangers" who copy our work for their own projects, as has happened in the past.
4. Why stick to Android 13 instead of upgrading to Android 14 or 15?
We’re staying on Android 13 to avoid our ROM being used as a source for Kangers. Our new mods are exclusive and not publicly shared, ensuring our work remains unique and protected.
5. Why not use obfuscation for smali code to prevent Kanging?
While obfuscating smali code could make it harder for Kangers to copy our work, it adds an extra layer of processing that, although not highly noticeable, still impacts development time and efficiency. We’ve chosen to prioritize performance and stability over obfuscation to deliver the best experience without unnecessary overhead.
