You underestimate his ability to make fancy posts about working hard while accomplishing very little. At least another month assuming he doesn't run into a problem he can dramatize on Patreon posts over a couple weeks.
The only other game developer I know to have managed such a slow output had her right arm and a couple of ribs broken badly when hit by a motorbike. I think she still managed more because she wrote out some scenes on paper with her left hand as she couldn't even use her PC properly with the pain. That and there is one writer on GL who is glacially slow but we're doing what we can to help him with that.
I dont think most of his patreons remember that they are still subbed to him. Crush is like a youtube channel at this point. Few thousand followers but each post less than 50 likes. Even this thread is mostly dead.

A shame,
I finally gave in and tried the Bangkok content and really like it. I'd love to see more of that. The writing is actually quite good.
The problem is that without the character creation, the skill checks are meaningless, as you don't have actually developed any skills to be different from one player to another.
And obviously, I do not know in how many years I should check back in for a significant content increase.
The writing is actually quite good.

... and if Crush focused on that and hired someone with an actual fucking clue to do the coding for him, the game might actually get done before we get through global warming and out the next ice age. Would be less profitable, though.
I am not even sure I can agree with that. The writing is good. Yes. But does a game like this need this amount of text? And for the time it takes him to write it, it isn't even that much. Several months for a few pages of setting up a scene? It feels like 90% of it is pointless. I certainly don't read all of it anymore. Do I need to make a decision on what type of food the character has for dinner? Does the outcome change anything? This is the biggest problem I have with the writing so far. There is a lot of it, but it means nothing. What is the expression? You sure talk a lot, but you don't say anything.
The game uses decision making mechanics and yet, nothing changes. I am not even talking about the skills and dice rolls, because other than being there, there is nothing to it.
I have stated it before, I don't even understand how you can progress with this game without having any idea what you want these mechanics to do. Either come up with a meaningful way and implement it now or scrap it and stop wasting time on it. He says that he wants to expand the game later and build up some groundwork. Well, he has done that for years. Time and time again and every couple of years he gets to a point where he hits a wall and starts all over again. I am not accusing him of intentionally scamming anybody, but even though the last couple of months suggest progress, has the game really progressed?
We got a few dozen pages of text and very little game. For years there was no progression at all and now the story progresses at a speed, where it doesn't make much sense anymore. The Agent barely arrived in Thailand, got herself a job, is no longer forced to whore herself out, but immediately gets raped, has no problem with it and installs cameras at the club so that her story is basically done. She can let the SWAT team do the rest.
At this point I have no idea where the story is supposed to go, how far he wants to stretch it, especially considering that he wants to create some open world kind of thing. At this point the agent can return home. Why would I explore more of the city or the underworld when the story has been told in less than an in game week?
I suggested a while ago, that at this point it would make more sense to go back to the college part of the game, have her travel to Thailand as a student, have her lose all her money and passport for real instead of just pretending and have her being forced by an agency to work for them in order to get home or something. At this point that would make much more sense, would leave you with many more options and it would be a decent way to attach the college part of the game which he wants to bring back at a later stage anyway.
How can you implement the actual character creation and setting up the skills and everything at a later point? You need to know what you want do with skills, how to integrate them and write scenes for it. You need to do that before you do everything else or otherwise you end up rewriting everything again, once you realise that you shoehorned yourself into a corner.
While I do appreciate the fact that we finaly made it to Thailand, I think he is going to hit a wall sooner or later, once he notices that he can't just implement skill checks and such without changing the outcome of everything he has written so far.

[HTML] - Female Agent [v1.15.1 Unlocked] [Crushstation]
An Outstanding Game!
The game mechanics are refreshing, the story is simple yet terribly exciting, the graphics are gorgerous, the paperdoll system is on point... And I spent an entire game wanking on it.
You, creator, deserve a round of admirative aplause!
Love this game. The story is great and I love the setting. The updates take a while but when they come they are very dense with content. I'm always looking for new updates to arrive, probably one of my favorite games on f95.
Honestly, this is one of the best games I've discovered here by a long shot, both for the sexual content and otherwise.
Sexual content:
Visuals:
The art for the MC is great, and so are the portraits of the NPCs. It's a realistic artstyle that really lends to the setting, as well as the eroticism. Sure, all you see is the MC as far as the sex scenes go, but the way that she is shown to blush, sweat, and even have an afterglow meshes is a great effort. The fact that you can view her from behind to really appreciate the myriad customizable dresses and makeup options is also a big plus.
Actual sex:
So far it seems pretty vanilla. The MC can get with several guys for 1 on 1 action. The MC, however, always cums (sometimes multiple times), which is a big turn-on for me.
The MC also gets groped A LOT (Though I think you can minimize it through gameplay choices) and it looks like there will be some SERIOUSLY juicy content as the updates continue to roll along.
The corruption content is fantastic and, as mentioned, looks like it will lead into some seriously intense sex scenes.
Non-sexual content:
Holy fuck, what can I say. I've yet to see a game on this site where the creator so clearly loves to do their research, both on secret services/spec ops and the setting. It's incredibly in-depth, but also presented in a very digestible way.
The fact that the MC exudes so much professionalism (At least for now) while slowly going down the route of corruption is so fucking hot - and this is all due to great writing for her line on work and thinking by the creator.
Overall, so far so great! I know some people have rated this poorly because of how long it's been worked on/restarted, but just having jumped in and witnessed the content presented thus far I am seriously impressed.
Don't know if the writer/dev will read this but bro you're doing something very right for subconscious exibit/humiliation fans xD
If you're into a female MC having to recognize her lewd side and descending into debauchery the is a game for you.
This game has the most potential out of any game I've played here; however the weird structure of the game and lack of new content brings it to a 4 star for now. I seriously want to give it 5 stars but I can't.
PROS:
- Great writing and hot scenes
- I love the text based nature of the game / avatar system and how they interact. I find it better and less distracting than full pictures or real porn.
- Amazing theme where you play as an undercover agent in Thailand.
- Good world building. Everything feels like it's realistic enough to actually happen in real life. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with other games, where they throw logic out the window. Everything makes sense here.
CONS:
- The game is broken up into a backstory where you're in school but it doesn't connect with the rest of the game... it's very odd.
- The above problem is compounded by the main game having little content currently.
- Decisions are rarely significantly impactful.
Overall this is a fantastic base for it to be one of the best games, if not, the best game on this site.
This is based on the latest version at the time (v.14.1)
What is there, is not bad at all. It is a linear visual novel with illusion of choice (as of now it only affects some minor flavor text), but a very engaging one. However, the pace of development can only be described as "glacial".
This project took almost 4 years to get past the intro, and into the first section of the "main" game
All in all, do play it and enjoy it, but don't expect it to receive updates quickly.
It has incredible potential, with great writing and clean UI. However, it has unfortunately been *plagued by slow development due to indecision and late revampes of the engine, story and art. As good as it looks, feels and reads right now, its just not good enough to justify four years of *development.
Update to 4 stars: Honestly, I really like the story so far in Bangkok. I can easily tell that the writer is someone that likes researching locations and exploring the emotions of his characters.
If this game was released just at the 4th quarter last year, I would have given it a clear 5 star review.
If there was some critique, its that a few situations I would have liked if it was possible for the character to go through darker scenes in her upbringing. Because it feels lacking in that regard. Example; The scare in the motel in Africa of an intruder not being just a scare, and it escalated instead due to her indecision.
Or the flirting with the old guys in that bar in Switzerland escalating, or maybe have a choice to actually get it on with them instead.
There needs to be real consequences to these type of indecisions when the dire situation calls for it, you know? Its a minor thing in general, and its just in my fantasy files, but I would like my character to go through such a trauma and have it strengthen her resolve later in the story when she becomes an agent.
Two things in life I've been waiting for: the end of the COVID pandemic and Crushstation finally taking the Female Agent to Bangkok. Glad to see one of those things has come about. My life is still not getting any more interesting, but at least the recent update of this outrageously half-baked game shows some promise.
I actually think scrapping it all and returning to the original structure is the best direction given the previous cumbersome backstory system that chips the focus away from the game's main theme—its sexual Orientalism—where the player gets to customize their (white) female intelligence officer on an undercover mission to infiltrate the Hard Cock Cafe in Bangkok. (Fun fact: there is a joke poster in real life depicting a Hard Cock Cafe in Patpong, Bangkok's red light district.) To prepare for the mission the agent has to pose as a tourist, a farang woman, and get hired as a sex worker. This story idea of course plays on Thailand's disrepute for sex tourism and the trope of sexpionage.
It's a fascinating mixture having the agent participate in what's clearly a dehumanizing experience where colonial and imperial history in developing countries has made the seedy scenery like Thailand what it is today—an industry that caters largely to foreign men coming from the developed world. And so within this context that the agent takes her trip. What this game has done better than most is its fixation on locations. This update goes out of its way to emphasize every place the agent sets her foot on, even what food she eats. This strange obsession, which is read like a piece of travel writing, of course is the result of seeing the Orient as an exotic other. The agent's first-person perspective gradually "discovers" cultural peculiarities that stand to divide the world she visits and the world she belongs. The racialized foreign, uncanny and unsafe setting is used to generate an atmosphere of thrill, emanating possibilities for sexual adventures.
Much more can still be said about a game that lets you play as the CIA going after a Middle Eastern terrorist. Will it end at a torture site in Thailand? My bet's on Guantanamo Bay. But the point is, even in a fun sexy game, ideology is still inescapable.
I really hope from this moment onward Crushstation doesn't overhaul the game again. This is perhaps Female Agent's last chance to progress and become something. One more undoing and this project may lose the modicum of support it has left. But if it can be completed this time perhaps little will be remembered of its haphazard development, but instead, a raunchy spy tale that can stand with the likes of Misadventures of Agent Romanov in the hall of adult gaming.
Female Agent doesn't have too much right now, but what it has is gold. The writing is fantastic, the character creation/background works well, and the choices you make lead to fun results, if a little limited. Story is split into two releases as of right now, so it's worth trying out both releases to get at least a few hours of content, though from what I hear new content is released fairly slowly.
1.13: Bangkok At Long Last Edition
In a vacuum, the most recent update looks promising. Outside a vacuum, getting to Bangkok at long last involved removing all the stupid lifepath shit CrushStation wasted the previous four fucking years on. M'kay.
Also outside a vacuum, the update is really more like the Bangkok Part of the Prologue Edition, and still doesn't offer any actual evidence CrushStation finally found a clue how to go about implementing that sandboxy undercover spycraft/whorecraft game this still isn't. M'kay.
In a vacuum, probably 3/5 for being too linear and rough around the edges. Outside a vacuum, after official review, the previous call is confirmed.
Previously: The 1.12: The Prologue Simulator, Back To The Drawing Board 3.XXX Get On With The Game Edition
So, CrushStation finally figured out he's spending too much fucking time on the pre-prologue and should get on with the game. So we're finally back to seeing some prologue, a year or so into the latest incarnation of The Prologue Simulator, Back To The Drawing Board 3.XXX, its first Get On With The Game Edition.
Except I'm still not convinced CrushStation finally bothered to actually go back to the drawing board. The stupid on-screen dice-rolling does little but detract from the story of The Prologue Simulator, Back To The Drawing Board 3.XXX, the RNG feels more random than back in the The Prologue Simulator, Back To The Drawing Board 2.X cycle, and, well, the Get On With The Game Edition still doesn't actually get on with the game.
I honestly believe CrushStation is a fucking moron who never actually touched the fucking drawing board and still doesn't have a fucking clue how the actual fucking game is supposed to work.
And while the writing is good, and the art is good, and has potential to be 5 stars in the right context, in the context of a game about undercover spycraft whoring in Bangkok that, 3.5 years in but apparently never actually using the drawing board when going back to it, as The Prologue Simulator, Back To The Drawing Board 3.XXX Get On With The Game Edition still isn't anywhere near getting to the fucking actual game about fucking actually undercover spycraft whoring in Bangkok, it's only worth one star because I can 't assign a well-deserved zero.
It is somewhat difficult to actually review this game, as any review is really only good for the time at which it was posted. That might seem obvious for an in-development project, but with this game in particular it's entirely possible that in a few months whatever is said about it will no longer apply because it will have gone in
