F5 Networks relies on Exclusive Group to support its development in North Africa

F5 Networks has recruited a new successor to John McAdam, its CEO since 2000. Francois Locoh-Donou will take office on April 3. Initially, the former had been replaced by Manny Rivelo in July 2015. But, the latter finally left the post five months later for personal reasons, forcing John McAdam to come out of retirement to temporarily take over the reins of the network equipment manufacturer.

Notably a graduate of a master's degree from Telecom Paris, Francois Locoh-Donou has so far spent most of his career with the equipment manufacturer Ciena. He joined in 2002 as Vice President in charge of Global Marketing. Later promoted to the company's sales management and then to the head of its activities in the EMEA zone, he was its vice-president in charge of the Global Products division before joining F5 Networks.

F5 signs two new VAD in France

The American F5 is doubling the number of its IT distributors in France. On February 16, this supplier specializing in securing IS and high availability of applications announced that it had entered into agreements with value-added wholesalers Exclusive Networks and Neovad. It is counting on these new partnerships to enable it to strengthen its borrowing in the “disruptive” Cloud / DevOps and Cyber-fraud technology markets. A strategy supported, on the offer side, by the recent acquisition of Volterra, the takeover of Shape Security last December, and that of NGINX a year ago.

“We are very happy with this new partnership. Exclusive Networks is a major player in the market, their ability to articulate corporate network and security solutions by nature complex constitutes a major asset in our development strategy in North Africa. Our ambition is to provide our end customers with the best possible support through a network of partners with very high added value. I am convinced that Exclusive Networks will play an essential role in this construction ”, comments Nasser El Abdouli, Channel Director Middle East, Turkey and Africa for F5 Networks.

“F5 Networks' extensive and innovative portfolio is an ideal complement to our offerings,” said Philippe Birot, Africa Director at Exclusive Networks. “We look forward to integrating F5 solutions and launching a series of targeted initiatives to grow our partner network with F5. "
