Clothing tells us so much more than we give it credit for: every choice, every decision – even the decision not to choose
– TILDA SWINTON

I would tell the readers that it’s all fluid for me: there’s no real male or female.
– CHRIS CROCKER

I think transvestites are wonderful people -very colorful- and I love it!
– OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN

I don’t consider myself a woman, ‘cuz I don’t know what that is. I consider myself Lady Chablis and that is who I am.
– THE LADY CHABLIS

CANDY 4TH ISSUE
SUMMER 2012
THE EXTRA EXTRAVAGANCE ISSUE
When it comes to making a fashion impact in short order, no one can compete with Candy Magazine. The groundbreaking glossy broke boundaries as the first transgender publication and in 3 issues it has garnered a cult-like following in and out of the industry. Afterall, what is better than a taste of candy? With their impressive roster of contributors and edgy editorials featuring the best models, actors and entertainers around Candy presents as bold as vision as we’ve seen. Headed by Luis Venegas , the magazine’s is especially timely today, on the International Day Against Homophobia and rest assured, with the 4th edition they don’t hold back.
A slew of industry insiders came together to create content that is guaranteed to tantalize. Androgynous cover star Tilda Swinton delivers a stellar turn in Xevi Muntane’s glamourous images, while Steven Klein’s erotic portfolio explores masculine romance with a sci-fi twist. We’re sure this is the first male pregnancy editorial you’ve ever seen. The provocative content doesn’t stop there, with fresh edits from David Armstrong – who commemorates the shots Nan Goldin took of him and Juan Gatti – who captures drag’s superstars, also demanding attention. Take a look inside Candy to experience it all for yourself – only in MDX.

i truly love this magazine, really the best outhere in this moment. iam tired of all those others reinvention magazines…i feel amazing after seeing this pictures, bravo candy mag!!!!!!!
I want one. Where can I buy Candy in Australia?
I seriously thought that was Carmen Dell Orefice on the cover.
I didn’t expect that was Tilda. She look so different! Lovin the editorial! http://thediaryofidan.blogspot.com
Im sick and tired to see of Steven Klein pictures like this!!
He is such a great photographer what is wrong with him????????
Steven Wake up!!!! COME BACK!!! WE MISS YOU!!!!
SO GAY, SO HOT, SO AMAZINGGG!!!
LOVE what they did.
im a bit disappointed becuz it gets so repetitive now! always the same ideas, the cover-star, the klein s-m, the armstrong dream…
whats next?
Just……
How did the pregnant guy come?
OMG… Good job!!!! Tilda Swinton has been transformed into a high fashion model.. !!! =)
The Meisel story isn’t so good in my opinion.
yes but which one is Chris Crocker in? i couldnt find it..
Love it! Especially with gayness. Lol.
OMG the last pictures of Juan Gatti are SO beautiful. Candy is definitively the best fashion magazine on earth!
Who knew the day we’d see “pregnant” male models would have come any sooner. This issue is pure edge!
i like the pregnant-boy idea but i feel ashamed for the model…especially if he’s not gay! all those young boys ended up nude, with their armpits and silly situation! not just in candy but also in his eletric youth magazine
the people behind the mag are seriously in need of SEX
I love the irrelevance of gender to fashion in the internal photospread. And what can I say about Tilda Swinton? Other than “Oh, my God, she’s unbelievable!”
I LOVE these pictures! So much beauty and fore sight! Glad to know there are people like you pouring your heart and soul into something so real!
