Express guide to buying SCROLL token with OKX Wallet
In this guide, we will detail how to participate in a private sale using OKX Wallet.

Let's start with creating an ETH purchase in the OKX app:
After downloading the app and registering an account (if you haven't registered before), we will go through KYC verification following the suggested instructions.
We will need a balance on the exchange wallet so that we can buy ETH for the swap. To do this:
1 - Search for ETH/USDT pair;
2 - Select it;
We are thrown to the trading menu. Here we only have to:
3 - Select the order type “Market”;
4 - Enter the amount;
5 - Press the “Buy” button;
After buying ether, let's create a new Web3 wallet as shown in the screenshot:
1 - In the main menu go to Web3;
2 - Click “Create Wallet”;
3 - Once again click “Create Wallet”;
Save the cid phrase in a safe place, the sequence is shown in the screenshots below:
Here we need to take the address of the wallet for its replenishment from the ETH exchange - copy it as shown in the screenshots.
Click on the “Refill” button and look for the ETH token - step 1.

Output the ether according to the instructions shown in the screenshots:
1 - Go to the “Assets” section;
2 - Click “Withdraw” here;
3 - Choose onchain withdrawal;
4 - The token we will withdraw is ETH. We bought it earlier and will exchange it to buy SCROLL;
Be sure to make sure that the network is ECR-20, check the inserted wallet address and confirm the withdrawal. The commission is usually up to 5 dollars.

2 - Insert the previously copied Web3 wallet address, select the network ERC20, enter the amount and send funds;
After the withdrawal we can go to the Uniswap platform itself, for this:
3 - Let's go to the “Discover” section (in the Web3 section);
4 - Search for Uniswap;
After these steps we just need to go to the Uniswap platform, connect the wallet, find the token at the contract address and exchange the desired amount of tokens for ether.
Note that the wallet is not connected directly via OKX, but via Wallet Connect (step 4), where we select the OKX e-wallet, as shown in the screenshots below:
When connecting, you will need to confirm the operation in the wallet itself (step 2).
After connecting the wallet to the platform we will find a token to exchange (step 3 in the screenshot above) using its contract address:

After that, select the token that appears (step 3).
4 - Click “Buy”;
After selecting the token, we need to set the slippage parameter to 49%. Repeat the actions shown in the screenshot:
1 - Click on the settings gear;
2 - Select the adjustable slippage parameter;
3 - Set 49%;

This problem is similar to the previous one, so you should try everything from the previous point, including using different VPN applications, changing your browser and device.

Difficulties with token purchase (Commission/ transaction does not go through)
There can be several reasons for this: not enough ETH for the commission, difficulty with the wallet or browser itself, etc.
Always pay attention to what exactly the commission amount is, and whether you have enough ETH to pay for the gas. In addition, it is also important to set the slippage parameter to 49%.
If none of the above helped, or you have another difficulty - try changing your wallet application and browser. In addition, I advise you to repeat the attempt not immediately, but after some time, because due to the huge load on the network during the private sale transactions can go badly.
If the problem is specifically related to the lack of ETH for commission, it is important to pay attention to the range of possible commission, which will be displayed when confirming the transaction. The easiest solution is to simply send more ETH to the wallet for the commission, or try entering fewer tokens for the swap.
