While I would find an accidentally exposed breast justifiable when there is a need (as in to feed a little baby) , I have more of an issue with the breastfeeding of a toddler, this being very likely not starving right at that moment, being more interested in the surroundings and therefore distracted, popping on and off, etc.
Many mothers are already perfectly comfortable breastfeeding in public. That's great—not only for you and your baby, but for those women and girls who are not yet mothers, who learn about breastfeeding when they see you. But maybe that's not you. Maybe you are feeling pretty anxious about nursing in public.
Given that breastfeeding in public is not against the law, a societal fallacy is committed in such a way that it creates a double standard between breastfeeding mothers and non-breastfeeding women with large exposed breasts.
