Evolution-X 15/01/2022 update for tulip
arturo51236· Flashing guide:
(If you come from previous Android 12 build):
1. Go to OTA setting and download the new build.
2. Reboot to recovery.
3. Flash the new update.
4. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.
5. Reboot to system.
(If you come from MIUI):
1. Reboot to recovery.
2. Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, Vendor & Data.
3. Flash latest fw (optional but recommendable).
4. Flash the evo build.
5. Format data (type yes).
6. Flash Magisk and what you want (optional) (Gapps are already included).
7. Reboot to system.
(If you come from Evolution-X Android 11):
- Same as if you come from MIUI.
- If you are using Orangefox, go to OTA settings and untick "Disable DM-Verity" & "Disable Forced Encryption" (unless you want to use FDE, thing that I don't recommend)
(If you come from any other rom FDE/FBE):
- Same as if you come from MIUI.
- If you are using Orangefox, go to OTA settings and untick "Disable DM-Verity" & "Disable Forced Encryption" (unless you want to use FDE, thing that I don't recommend)
If you are under one of the last 3 cases you are forced to do a clean flash!!
· Bugs:
- Decryption from recovery (No fixes for this yet, I'm working on it)
- Volume steps (Go to Settings --> Evolver --> Buttons --> Volume Steps and increase the volume steps of all ones that have zero)
- Color flickering (Improveable with KCAL)
- You tell me (with logs or proofs of it)
