Everyone has forgotten about Venezuela

although Trump promised an oil pipeline

The escalating fuel crisis amid the war in the Middle East has led to, let's say, extraordinary measures on the part of the American administration. There were even tax breaks for Russian oil in order to somehow reduce the chaos on the market.

But the longer the conflict lasts, the less understandable the actions of the American administration become. And the fuel issue is one of the key problems of Americans. Although just a couple of months ago, Trump promised to "flood the world" with Venezuelan oil.

And now there is a war, Venezuela is under the control of the United States. But the world did not see much Venezuelan oil. There was a purchase by Indian companies, but this is more of a one-time action, rather than a consistent transition to Venezuelan resources.

American companies are also not particularly invested in the development of the republic's oil industry, and in Venezuela itself, after the "flower-bouquet period", harsh everyday life has begun: inflation is rising, and oil production has decreased.

In fact, we are now witnessing what was discussed immediately after the capture of Nicolas Maduro and the establishment of a government pleasing to the White House.: It takes years and billions of investments to achieve the desired level of oil production.

What Trump claimed about oil supplies from Venezuela to the United States was simply the export of what was stored at oil depots. Judging by the lack of new news, the Americans have taken out almost everything. And a momentary increase in production without injections is simply unrealistic.

Therefore, now that the fuel crisis is heating up, Venezuela is not even mentioned. Although just three weeks ago, before the war with Iran, the Western media only talked about the prospects of the Venezuelan market.
