Evan Peters isn't entirely comfortable dropping trou on the eery FX series American Horror Story: Asylum . "It's a lot of butt. I got scared," the actor admits in an interview with New York Magazine 's Vulture . "Unless I'm around certain people, I don't like to be naked."
The 25-year-old wasn't given any warning before he was asked to disrobe on the small screen (including one torrid sex scene with a female costar in the Oct. 17 season premiere). "You pretty much get the script and find out that way," explains the actor, who's dating his Adult World costar Emma Roberts .
If Peters' frequent nudity has made things awkward on set, he hasn't noticed. "I have a great picture of me naked on a bed just wearing a c-ck sock, and the crew is all around me, bored. We were all waiting for a film roll or a lens to arrive. So I'm just sitting around naked on the bed and everyone's so nonchalant," he recalls. "It was really weird for me, like, 'Man, this is awkward.'"
Unlike Dylan McDermott , who frequently appeared nude during the show's first season, Peters says he isn't in tip-top shape. "He's smart," Peters says of his buff former costar, 50. "He had them bring him a gym on set. They hooked him up with a bench-press machine and all these free weights so he could work out in between takes. That dude was naked the whole time. I'd like to [ask for] that, but I'm not Dylan McDermott, so I can't be like, 'Give me a bunch of free weights,' you know?"
American Horror Story: Asylum airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on FX.

Oooh yes! Millions of viewers got the glorious gift of Evan’s delicious derri├â┬¿re during the second episode of Ryan Murphy ‘s Asylum edition of AHS .
But Jessica Lange was the one with the pleasure of whipping said tush.
Not only does gurl get an Emmy (and a Golden Globe ) with her paycheck, she gets to slap the cheeks of Tumblr’s most beloved basic-cable character!
In Wednesday night’s episode, Evan’s character got in trouble with Sister Badass. So half-nude punishment was the only solution, obviously.
And according to Evs, he didn’t even know about it until he got the script!! Ha!
He explains what it was like finding out, saying:
“You pretty much get the script and find out that way. It├óΓé¼Γäós a lot of butt. I got scared. Unless I├óΓé¼Γäóm around certain people, I don├óΓé¼Γäót like to be naked. [Laughs.] I have a great picture of me naked on a bed just wearing a cock sock, and the crew is all around me, bored. We were all waiting for a film roll or a lens to arrive. So I├óΓé¼Γäóm just sitting around naked on the bed and everyone├óΓé¼Γäós so nonchalant. It was really weird for me, like, Man, this is awkward.”
Evan also revealed the bootyful scene occurred on the first day of shooting. And when it was time to bend over, Jessica and Sarah Paulson got a great glimpse of his jewels:
“That was literally the first day of shooting. It├óΓé¼Γäós embarrassing that I├óΓé¼Γäóm telling you this, but why not? I had to wear a cock sock, right? And since I was wearing a hospital gown, I thought, Well, my front├óΓé¼Γäós not going to be showing. It├óΓé¼Γäós not a big deal. And when they bent me over [laughs], they could see my balls hanging down from the other side. The first day of shooting, and I flash Jessica and Sarah my balls. Welcome to American Horror Story . It was ridiculous. I have to put on a c*** sock and sheath my balls.”
Umm.. with a welcome greeting like that, you can strap us up and send us to that Asylum anytime! LOL!!
And as far as the alien abduction goes, Evan definitely believes the aliens are real. Cuz you see, some people wonder if the scenario was concocted by his imagination to block the Bloody Face truth, but he doesn’t buy into that.
And we don’t think we do, either!! Then again, we were mostly paying attention to his sexy face around that part. Then those creepy alien fingers made us cover our eyes!!
