Former porn queen Eva Angelina has made an unlikely career switch - fighting fires in St. Petersburg, Florida , DailyMailTV can reveal.
X-rated star Angelina - who these days goes by her real name Nicole Tyler - is on her way to becoming a firefighter in The Sunshine State after completing fire academy training last week.
The Californian beauty graduated in Class No. 57 at the St. Petersburg College Firefighting Academy and proudly posed with her squad - of which she was squad leader - in photos she posted on her Instagram page.
In the photo she held an academy banner which read 'Adopt & Overcome' and she wrote: 'I am proud to present to you Fire Academy graduated Class No. 57 and a photo of my squad. Proud not only to have been chosen to lead you but to also call you my teammates and now my friends for life. Thank you! I wouldn’t have wanted to have gone through this process with anyone other group of guys than with you all.'

In another photo she posted, the 5ft 3in brunette is seen wearing a firefighter's helmet and overalls with four other recruits during training in front of a burning truck.
It's not clear at which fire station the 34-year-old former porn star will work from but her past X-rated career will likely raise a few eyebrows among fellow - mostly male - firefighters.
A spokesperson for St. Petersburg Fire Department confirmed Angelina is now a 'state certified firefighter' after graduating from the fire academy.
But they said the former adult actress is still looking for a position at a fire department after being overlooked during the interview process in St. Petersburg.
The spokesperson said: 'She graduated from St Petersburg College but she is not an employee of the City of St Petersburg. She's a state certified firefighter but has to get hired with a department.'
The spokesperson said Angelina had gone through the interview process but was not hired in this year's intake, adding that it was notoriously difficult to get jobs in the department.
'She's still a state certified firefighter and is eligible to get hired by any other department or organization in the state of Florida.
'Once you get the training and certification it's good for three years, but usually it takes up to a year to find a job.'
It's been a long road for hard-working Angelina- the once star of adult movies such as Double D Divas and Sauna Girls - who completed an LAFD Candidate Advancement Program (CAP) in Los Angeles in August last year.
During the same month the shapely Cross Fit enthusiast posted a photo of her certificate of completion for the LAFD's official Community Emergency Response Team training.
Her efforts put her in good stead for when she eventually moved to Florida and signed up to the fire academy in St. Petersburg.
Angelina has not replied to a request for comment from DailyMailTV.

She was named a Penthouse Pet in 2010 and in the same year was named by Maxim as one of the 12 top female stars in porn.
According to her Wikipedia page she was active in porn up until 2014.
According to her LinkedIn page she became a realtor in May, 2014 working at several firms across California.
But Angelina, originally from Huntington Beach, California, has always chased public service.
She demonstrated a penchant for wearing uniform even before becoming a firefighter, appearing in x-rated films like Nurses, Not Airplane XXX: Flight Attendants and as a sergeant in Anal Boot Camp.

Hopefully fire chiefs in St. Petersburg hold the same view of past careers as did chiefs in New York in 2014 when it emerged a rookie firefighter starred in at least 10 gay porn movies.
NY Daily News reported that Jonathan Jesensky, 33, who also served in the Marines, ditched his porn career, where he was known by alias Jonathan West, before he was hired as an FDNY EMT in 2012.
But an FDNY official said he came clean about his adult film past before he was hired by the city so no action would be taken.
The department does not bar candidates who have posed nude or starred in X-rated films, according to the report.
