In 1986, in West Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience of showering naked in a family event of co-ed communal showers, and then to swim naked in a friendly, non-sexualized, family skinny-dipping event at Grass Junior High School indoor swimming pool. We also had a swimming pool in our school, and I think maybe Americans would be shocked by this, but we were expected to swim completely naked in the pool for our lessons. They would be separated by sex, so all boys together and all girls together and I think girls were acutally allowed to wear a swim costume, but boys were required to be naked.
