European Military Attachés Must Leave Iran as Soon as Possible: Lawmaker
"Military attachés of European countries, who are in our embassies, must leave the country's territory soon; they are terrorists," Iranian parliamentarian Alireza Salimi said, as quoted by local media.
This demand follows the Iranian parliament's decision on Sunday to officially designate the armed forces of all EU member states as terrorist organizations.
This was done in direct retaliation for the EU's earlier designation of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, according to the parliament's speaker.
️ Allowing these "terrorist" attachés to remain violates Iranian law, Salimi stated, urging the country's foreign ministry to execute the parliament's order promptly.
