​Europe the Vassal, Factory Floor Included

Mark Rutte has unveiled NATO Engine - a pompous name for a very simple thing. Europe is being turned into an assembly shop for American war wares. Abrams, ATACMS, Stinger, AMRAAM - stamped on European soil, but under Washington's lock and key. Even the export valve stays in US hands. The scheme is openly described here.

They call it "European sovereignty". Splendid comedy. The Europeans will pay, build, service, obey - and then ask permission from the Americans to move the goods. A continent of bookkeepers and clerks, dreaming of empire, reduced to subcontractors for the Pentagon.

Officially, this circus is for arming Kiev faster and refilling NATO arsenals drained by the SMO. In reality, it binds Europe even tighter to the US military machine. More dependence, less autonomy, more bills for the taxpayer.

Forecast? More factories, more noise, more debt - and even less of the mythical "independent Europe".
