I have heard about how infamous this game was so I decided to try it just to see what all the fuss was about. Surprisingly I actually enjoyed the game as I thought it did have a pretty good story that kept me guessing and made me want to play through all the routes to fill in the blanks. The twists in the third part, I thought were great as well. They totally got me, wasnt expecting Nemu and Kanae to pull a switch with Kanae being the real villain and Nemu being the real childhood friend.
As for the content in the game. I've seen some shit in my life so to be honest, all of the scat, rape, bdsm, piss and all of the other sexual content in Euphoria, I didn't have an issue with.
However, the one thing that got to me the most is when the game turns into Nightmare fuel. FU Clock Up, It was those god damn creepy ass pictures of Kanae on the table that kept flashing on the screen for a split second, that did it for me. Thats the kind of shit I cant handle. Those images will forever be burned into my mind. I was terrified playing through her route cause I was anticipating them to keep popping up.
Speaking of which, is that considered a bad ending? The first ending I got which I assumed was the true ending was when you escape the facility, Kanae dies by getting shot, or stabbed I assume, you find Nemu and you run away together. After that I went through Kanae's route again because there was a choice that I missed. I got more choices. I tortured / murdered Kanae, tortured Nemu, became the king of the school and now all the girls are part of my collection. I assume this takes place in the virtual world?

Exactly! Those were so utterly horrifying. I expected gore coming into the game, but the way it was presented in context was just so chilling I was completely unprepared.
The "Devil's end" obviously takes place in the virtual world (No way would "they" let Nemu undergo such a thing), and the true ending is indeed the one where you save her.
could you tell me how to get the devil's end is it part of kanae's route?
You just need a spinning top with you at all times.
The game files include "special_bad.ypf" and "true_end.ypf" so I would guess that means the ending with Keisuke as dictator of the school is the "special bad" ending.
I don't think it is likely that any of the torture Keisuke inflicts occurs in a "virtual world". Remember what Kanae says after she is finished messing around with Keisuke: "Everything up until [Nemu's] neck snapping you actually experienced. The moment you snapped her neck was false information transmitted to your brain." She then proceeds to summarize what was actually going on. If you finished the true route and don't remember that, skip to after you tell Kanae you love her five times in a row.
It also seems unlikely that the special bad ending was in a virtual world either, since it was simply an extension of the game currently in progress. After all, Nemu's value to the game master(s) was limited to her dreams and her physical condition didn't otherwise matter to them so long as she remained alive. If anything putting Nemu in a virtual world would have gone against what they wanted since their goal was to make Nemu give up on the real world.
Also, remember how Rinne doesn't have legs or arms as a result of being trapped in concrete. They broke them.

It's definately in the virtual world. If Nemu dies (getting her neck broken), Keisuke is taken out of the virtual world because Nemu wins the bet that she could make him hate her enough that he would kill her. Since Nemu does not die in the game, Keisuke is still in the virtual game.
There's also the fact that Keisuke was in a glass bowl or whatever in the virtual reality. Unless he was able to get out of the facility, not see the body bags outside the school, and magically have Nemu and Kanae in the gym, I don't see how the brute/demon ending was in real life.
I just 100%'d this and man, it was amazing. I thought the 'devil end' was the most horrifying.. It's where you see the red flashing Kanae scene (personally it didn't bug me I found it hilarious). I recommend reading the interviews in the bonus section! They were a lot of fun. There was a lot less gore/horror than I expected. It kept me interested the whole way. True end made me feel good about myself. I really wish more people would give this a chance! The good ends also made me feel good about myself. Anyway if anyone is wondering the recommended route rika>natsuki>rinnie>nemu>kanae. Director interview was really good. I hope everyone enjoys euphoria if they end up buying it! Finding out that Kanae was the villian made that scene a lot easier for me. When those images first flashed up I was terrified because I thought the ending would be Nemu manipulating you into killing Kanae. Then you find out Kanae is actually the villain and I was like "oh no, fuck you Kanae, this bitch is gonna suffer."
For my routes... well I got the bad ending first cause I went out of order. Then I realized you have to pick them all five times so I went Rinne > Nemu > Rika > Natsuki > Kanae and then Kanae again for the other ending.
Yeah that part was really good and I never thought this game could even come close to conjuring up any feels.

These pictures and the redtexts that appear during the flashback scenes caught me off guard too. Had to pause the game for a minute to get my thoughts back in order.
Wasnt there another one when you go down Nemu's route that said something like "If you continue to get in my way, I will fucking kill you"
The other thing that creeped me out was the censored text. I have no idea what the one at the end where you are talking to Nemu was supposed to say but obviously it had something to do with torturing Kanae. It was like " I want you to -- her and ---."
The one during the VIP room dream was obvious cause Kanae was like "You can do whatever you want to me. You can even -ill me." I assume that was obviously supposed to say "kill".
Can anyone tell me what 'routes' or choices I should make first? Also am I supposed to stick to one girl throughout or not? I completed a playthrough choosing just Makiba I think it was, the junior girl anyway and ive nearly finished Rinne's. Not much has happened in either of those.
You have to stick to one girl for all 5 rounds or you will get a bad ending.
Basically if you want the true ending, you have to go through Nemu's first and then Kanae's. If you want the entire story and all the routes (100% completion), simply put, just choose Kanae last. You will get the rest of the story before finishing with the true ending
As for choices, its pretty easy. Most routes only have 1 choice or so once you get to part 2. One choice gets you to the end of that route and the other gets you a bad end. Just save whenever a choice comes up if you arent sure which one to pick.
Kanae's true end route is a bit tough however. There are multiple choices in this one which will either lead you to the "Devil's ending" (which is basically the true bad ending) and other choices which can get you other bad ends.

The CG set was pretty damn mindboggling but the premise sounded good! Everyone dies in the canon ending except the lead and two other girls, but I must know more. Who set up this game? What's up with this weird matrix ending that I'm hearing about?

I played it. I am lazy though so I won't tell every single detail. In the game, after they escape from the facility, it turns out that the world outside has basically collapsed into anarchy. The two groups are mostly split into Nemu who controls the school and Rinne, who took her troubled religious upbringing and started a crazy cult and going off the deep end. Much suffering to follow as they clash and depending on your path, one side wins which means the other gets screwed. Eventually Nemu pisses Keisuke off so much that he strangles her to death... But it was actually her ploy which allows him to "awaken" in the real world and that he has basically been in a simulation. Kanae is revealed to be the scientist in the real world who's running the simulation and who screwed around with his memory to become his "childhood friend"... well, mostly for the lulz. The memories were taken from Keisuke's memories with Nemu, who was his ACTUAL childhood friend. Kanae is a researcher on a new project for letting people live their lives in a VR-like enviroment for rich patrons to escape into and to use a computer term, Nemu/Rinne are the "servers" of the world and apparently their despair runs the simulation somehow, which explains Keisuke's life being extremely terrible even though he was put in the simulation. Keisuke goes back into the simulation one time to talk to Nemu, who wants him to stay in simulation with her, but he decides that he's going to come back one day so that they can both live in the real world. He escapes from the facility and prepares himself. One day, while Kanae, who is revealed to be an industrial spy, gets into a shootout and car chase with Nemu as the package, she ends up getting killed and Keisuke picks her up from the vehicle. The game ends as presumbly they do go off tomorrow and live happy lives in the real world

Thanks a bunch, Davzz. The chances of this getting an English translation are close to none considering the fetishes it portrays, but it'd be cool if it would happen.
