Advocate, Professor, Author, and CEO of multiple businesses including a primary care practice in Coral Springs, Florida. Dr. Pamela Manning comes with a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Pam is a mother of three, Aron (17), Alycia (19), and Ian (29), she is a wife to husband Michael and a grandmother to Noah and Nicholas. Dr. Manning is of Jamaican descent; however, she has been living in Florida for over 30 years and she is no stranger to Palm Beach County because for the last 7-years she resided in Boca Raton. On a non-profit level, Dr. Manning served for six- years as the President of two local non-profit organizations and received leadership training from several organizations including the Office of Minority Health. As it pertains to leadership, Dr. Pam has over 26 years of experience in leadership and her attention to detail is impeccable. Dr. Pam's thesis was the Health Implications of Nurse Burnout and Interventions which is what led her to form this organization. Dr. Pam started this organization with her very own money and at the beginning stage, she would purchase spa packages to give away to different nurses. Dr. Manning took a break from escape to focus on self-care and to return to her passion with a stronger more effective board of directors.

I have no clue about how to win against the nurse . Do i have to pray for her to be a baby killer or is there any trick to avoid her hits ?
Spread out, break line of sight, be unpredictable, hope everyone is doing gens efficiently, sacrifice your eldest child to the Entity, know how far she can blink and what obstacles you can punish her for trying to blink through.
The most upsetting thing in this game is when you’re doing all of this, loop her for a decent amount of time, and finally go down only to realize your teammates have been doing nothing the whole time
Perform split second calculations on exact percentages in the code of the game to know what she's thinking and hold w to counter it
This is a good answer. A good nurse knows what your options are when you go to or around a building or other structure, and knows what the general odds are of you making a certain move in the moment. Survivors are more predictable than you think.
The thing to understand with the Nurse, is that once she’s held her Blink long enough, she will traverse that distance no matter what, and sometimes that’s an opportunity to juke the opposite direction. There are certain structures she can’t blink through, and has to figure proper work around for, so learn what they are and lead her there so you give your teammates time to repair more gens.
but she has all those range addons that make her range and charge up time unpredictable
ye she has to be bad. i sometimes get 0k as nurse bc of how bad and impatient i am with my blinks :(
Its me, I am the bad nurse (I just started playing her after 600 hours of refusing to play her)
It's the luck of the mindgame really. You can't know for sure where the nurse is gonna go, and she can't know for sure where you'll be when she arrives.
The most consistent piece of advice a pro Nurse friend of mine gave me is to blink to where survivors are currently vs trying to predict and blink to where they're going. Survivors tend to overthink, overspin, juke, etc and end up right in front of the Nurse. Use that information however you will.
Even if you juke (or don't) correctly and they don't get a hit in that first blink, a good nurse will be able to react quickly enough to line up the second blink and get the hit then, so your next best tool is to break line-of-sight. Once LOS is broken, it comes down to map/loop knowledge and "where would I go or hide or do if I were this survivor" kinda thing.
At the end of the day, the best way to counter Nurse is to play as Nurse to learn and experience the advantages and disadvantages yourself. If you really wanna mindfuck survivors though, play a walking nurse with the movement speed add-ons. It's pretty funny.
This. People complain about Nurse all day but if they don't have any experience playing her, of course they're gonna get curb-stomped. The best tool any survivor has in dbd is playing killer. It gives you so much insight to how they work, how they think, and how to make their life hard.
Honestly, unlike other killers, all you can do is go for 50-50s.
The Nurse had a choice to either blink to where you just ran (when you broke LOS) or where she thinks you are going. Moving unpredictably can make the second choice less likely to hit you, but if she gets used to your movement, it won’t matter.
A thing I haven’t seen a ton of people mention is scratch marks. Shadow Step is really strong against nurse for this reason. Not only does it hide aura reading, but you can break LOS, hide and it will be hard for her to find you. Trying to find hiding survivors as nurse is really difficult due to her low base MS, and she will not want to waste a blink looking for you.
Anyway, that’s all I can advise but take it as you will!
The only way, is death! Unfortunately, it's not an escape.
I am a terrible nurse. So sometimes I hop into a game as the nurse just to let some survivors have a good experience with the nurse and pray I don't get a bully squad
When she charges her blink, as she blinks turn around and run towards her. She’ll blink past you and the chase basically restarts. Later on she’ll anticipate your turn around and do shorter blinks but at that point it’s a mind game of “keep running or turn around”
I've seen a video where a nurse used her fully charged blink on the ground to avoid that situation and got a hit

Aims:

This review aims to help nurse leaders and professionals to understand, recognize, and mitigate the phenomenon known as the diffusion of responsibility, while also bridging a gap in nursing literature by highlighting Milgram's and Zimbardo's research.

Background:

Nurses are uninformed of how responsibility is diffused when obeying authority figures, fulfilling roles, and conforming in groups. It is important to recognize and address this potential for unethical practices, given the high risk for these behaviours to occur in health care settings.

Evaluation:

Sources discussing the diffusion of responsibility were identified through databases using terms such as: "Diffusion of Responsibility," "Nursing," "Ethics," "Obedience," "Groupthink," "Bully," "Milgram," and "Zimbardo."

Key issues:

Social psychology examples of diffused responsibility from Milgram, Zimbardo, and Janis are explored, applied to the field of nursing, and leadership implications are discussed.

Conclusion:

Nurses can unintentionally ascribe accountability for personal action to others. It is therefore essential for nurses to escape the cycle of diffused responsibility.

Implications for nursing management:

Examples in this review provide important clues for addressing the negative effects of diffused responsibility. The onus is on nurses to personally enhance the ethics of their practice by surveying, pondering, and applying these concepts.

Keywords:

diffusion of responsibility; ethics; groupthink; nursing; obedience; social conformity.
