I slowly opened my eyes realising straight away that I was back in the cabin laid out naked on the bed.

We came to a stop near the same place as before. As I came out his arms I made sure to check my environment for apes. They might be friendly to Tarzan but I know for a fact that they hate me.

I have a shiver as I remembered my last encounter of the fourth kind with the last ape that I accidentally touched up.

Tarzan grabbed my hand walking me to the edge of the clearing. He seemed to be withdrawn within himself.

He turned to face me just as the forest started to become thinner. I could make out some huts in the background.

"Jane stay near Tarzan. Jane don't go." He commanded me.

I nodded slapping him on the chest but couldn't help caressing his chest in the process. "Don't worry big guy. I'm staying with you."

Part of me was upset that I didn't manage to complete the deed with him however there is a wild woman out there for him. I shouldn't spoil him for her.

With regret I took my eyes off him looking back towards the village.

Tarzan shook my arm getting my attention. "Village no safe. Stay with Tarzan."

I nodded in understanding. So the locals didn't like Tarzan. Probably because he been stealing all their food that the company gave them.

"Understood." I gave him a mock salut walking a head to the village.

I saw a native villager as soon as I entered. It was a woman walking with a child strapped to her back with a cloth. She looked at me in fear till she saw Tarzan next to me. She seemed happy to see him but still regarded me with apprehension.

She turned to Tarzan exchanging quick words.

Tarzan grinned picking up my hand to hold it against his naked chest pulling me to his side. I didn't understand what he was saying but his body language made it clear that I was with him.

The woman smiled at me then pointed in the direction behind her. Tarzan began pulling me in that direction. We met a few locals all of them staring at me in awe as Tarzan spoke to them.

We must have came to the village centre as there seemed to be a lot of people milling about. Through the crowd I saw Daniel walking dressed in black combat gear. I made a move to go to him when Tarzan tugged me back.

"Let me go." I growled at him. I knew this would happen this wild man getting too attached to me.

He placed a finger on his lips in a shush motion pointing to Daniel. "Bad man."

I shook my head. "Tarzan. They are not bad. They are doctors here to help." I explained.

Daniel ducked into a tent that appeared to have been guarded by three other men in black military gear.

The flap opened again further with a local chained up by his wrist and feet walking out with his held high. A gun was pointed at his back. Daniel body came out a moment later as he was the one pointing the gun at the local.

The crowd was silent watching the whole interaction.

+

Tarzan tugged at my hand for us to go deeper back in the crowd. So the shadow from the building obscured us from their view.

"This is what happens when you do not listen to us." Daniel shouted menacing at the crowd.

+

And old man came rushing out the tent throwing himself at Daniel feet. Crying, gesturing to the young man that Daniel had his gun pointed at.

"This is your chief son. Who thought he knew what was best for you." Daniel pulled the trigger. The young man blinked as he dead body dropped to the floor. "I know what is best for you."

I stifled a scream falling into Tarzan arms. I just witnessed a murder.

"Now get back to work!" He commanded.

Everyone went about their business like it was a normal occurrence. I let Tarzan lead me back to the forest as I tried to figure out what it is that I actually work for.
