Across the street from The Yellow Rose, and for good reason:

The place packs plenty of pumps and panties for pole-dancing pros.

Lingerie, 'dance' wear, stripper shoes, fake diamonds... and many garments in neon color palettes.

Nothing we found here was really compelling - but I imagine its crazy convenient for the girls who work across the street. One of the few lingerie shops that doesn't sell sex toys.

Thongs, garter belts and bustiers - all solidly constructed, and while not exactly affordable, certainly within reason.

Perhaps a tad more 'mature' or 'classy' than some of the lingerie you might see elsewhere - I tend to get a MILFY vibe from many of the patrons, the college girls seem to look for a funkier place for panties.

The location in Barton Creek Square mall is far from ideal, and the shop itself is pretty small - we usually just end up wandering over to Victoria's Secret instead.

If you live in far south Austin or San Marcos, come here for your sex toys or porn... the lingerie and leather sections are sort of meh.

I'd tend to recommend you go up 35 a bit to hit up Le Rouge and Dreamers... selection (between the two) is much better.

This does seem to be the location of choice for some lesbian couples, however... and there are more women at this location than many other sex shops.

They've also got 'viewing booths' that I think will allow couples... so if you need to screen 'Assaholics Anonymous #7' before you buy it, you totally can.

They've got isles and isles of DVDs and magazines... as well as a 'square' section of magazines (i.e. Texas Monthly and Vogue).

The real reason to come here (heh) would be the surprisingly good selection of sex toys, lubes and novelties. The lingerie selection isn't stellar, but you may find something cheap that catches your (or your boyfriends) eye.

They've even got a few higher end dildos & vibes, and even some bondage gear.

Not exactly a couples paradise, but it didn't seem too terribly seedy.

We went in here thinking it was a sex shop. We were half right.

They have a very small collection of lingerie and sex toys, but they have several women there IN lingerie... so I think they might be in the business of selling something ELSE. If you want sex toys, go next door to AAA news... who has a much larger selection.

If you're looking for lingerie or sex toys, look elsewhere... but if you're looking to pay money to go into a back room with women in lingerie, they can probably help you with that.

Not sure how legal this place is, or what exactly is going on here, but I think you can probably figure that one out for yourself.

My girlfriend and I, both in our 20s, have been out to Hippie Hollow on many warm summer days.

Being naked in public really isn't that big a deal, people - and once you've done it a few times, it becomes a total non issue.

There are subsections of the park, an area primarily for couples (and gasp! some swingers) an area where the gay dudes tend to congregate and then just a section for people who like their nudity a little more secluded.

You don't *have* to be naked to go to Hippie Hollow, but don't be like the groups of Mexican construction workers who just come to gawk.

There are all ages, body types and orientations here - if you can stomach a few naked old people, you'll be rewarded with younger, tatoo'd naked hipsters.

Hippie Hollow is a great place for singles, couples or groups - but no pets or kids are allowed, sorry.

Bring:
1. SUNBLOCK. Sweet god, you don't want to get sunburned on your junk... trust me.
2. Towels and/or air mattresses to sit on... the shore is rocky.
3. Sunglasses. (for eye protection, and to keep your eyes wandering from being too obvious.)
4. Food/drink - but no glass containers, please.
5. Floats to drift around on the lake.
6. Cameras: if anyone is gawking at you or your lady, make a big show of taking their picture, and they'll scram.
7. Sandals to negotiate the rocks.
8. A smile! Naked people are usually friendly, and not all of them are creepy.

So make the drive, get lotioned up, and come enjoy the natural beauty of (and on) Lake Travis.

Excellent selection for a small boutique. The owner/operator is extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable.

The selection could be larger, but the quality of the toys and leather here is excellent.
