Hi, i'm Erin, and I'd love to be able to tell your story through my photography! I'm that person that went to school thinking of doing one major and realizing that wasn't my God given gift and quickly changed it to photography. I first started my college life as a psychology major. I love people and enjoy meeting new people and making memories and relationships. I found out in my second year of college at an internship that I feel for people in such a strong way that being a child psychologist would be too hard on me emotionally. I then sought out my next favorite thing, photography. Since a young girl, cameras have fascinated me. Not just because of how they work, but because this was a tool I could use to stop moments in time and create memories. My Husband will testify that when we both have a day off together my first statement is, "let's do something that will create memories," I'm all about new experiences! Photography opens that door for me! Creating memories for you and your loved ones is my desire and goal. Your story is precious, unique and exciting! I want to help you tell it, and create memories for you to last you a life time! I had the honor of marrying my best friend on October 4th 2014. Billy is my biggest fan and supporter, and I couldn't do any of this without him! Billy and I have a passion for extreme sports, and both enjoy racing our dirt bikes together. We have an Australian Kelpie named Chip, a calico cat named Delilah, a little tuxedo cat named Link, and are expecting our first child, a son in March 2020!
I’m a college graduate with a degree in Photography Visual Arts. My first year of photography school I was given an internship at a prestigious photography studio in Lancaster Pa called ‘Charles Studio,’ now called ‘Paul Jacobs Photography.’ After interning for three months I was offered a full time job, which I gladly took. I feel like I learned a lot and gained knowledge and experience from that. After two years there, I was then offered a job at another studio in Lancaster Pa, called ‘Photography by GeorJean’ and have been with this company for six years, helping out owner Michelle when she needs it. I then worked part time at JC Penny Portrait Studio during the week and shot weddings for myself on the weekends. After working full time at two well-known studios in the local area, I have gained an eye for photography and have learned to conduct a well-run business as well as relate to the clients. I’ve owned my business for 11 years now. It became my full time job in April of 2014. I left JCP Studio and was able to shoot full time for myself, with not only weddings, but also doing family photos, high school seniors, babies, you name it, I did it all! In December 2013 I was offered a job at Complete Weddings and Events to do some wedding photography for them. In June 2017 my business flourished and I had to leave Complete to be able to dedicate my whole self to ELP. My Next big adventure happened in the fitness industry. I've always been a gym nut and found my passion through a class format called POUND Rockout Workout. I became certified in December 2017 and began teaching my first class 4 days after my certification course. In August 2018 I visited Crunch Fitness in West York for a POUND Pro meet up, and was offered a job to instruct there as well. From there, I became a AFAA Certified Group Fitness instructor and have now been teaching at Crunch Fitness locations throughout Central Pa in West York, Harrisburg, Lancaster and soon East York. I'm part time with Crunch and love being apart of the gym and changing lives for the members as they embark on their fitness journeys. I've been blessed to be able to do two things I love! My life consists of weddings, editing, and gym vibes. I love my job and would never trade it for anything. I bring that same love and enthusiasm to each and every wedding I photograph, because each couple has a unique story and I want to portray who you are together in my work.
Because I have worked at three studios and have gone through schooling I know how to use the top grade photography editing programs to make your pictures shine. Most importantly however I know how to take better pictures and satisfy the customer with my work. My job is to make you happy by capturing your special day. I do this, by knowing how to make you comfortable and relaxed with an easygoing personality as well as knowing what to look for and how to control my surroundings to make the perfect shot for you. I really enjoy people, and love producing attractive and creative photography. I hope you enjoy my work!
