INVITATION FOR BIDS
The South Nation Nationalities and Peoples Regional State, Pastoral Affairs and Special support Coordination Bureau invites registered contractors with license renewed for the year 2012 EC and registered for VAT, Tin, Trade to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the Omo rate solar Photovoltaic system project
NB. The bidder with poor efficiency of constructions and Installation and have been blacklisted in the region for none performing and termination of a project cannot compete for any bid. (whenever recognized Will automatically be rejected)
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the Office of South Nation Nationalities and Peoples Regional State, Pastoral Affairs and Special support Coordination Bureau, Finance & Property Administration Directorate.
3. Bidders are instructed to submit “One Original" and "Two copies" of Technical and Financial Documents in different folders. Labeled as ORIGIONAI, AND COPY FOR BOTH PROPOSALS PROPERLY, separately and shall be sealed in large outer mother envelope.
4. The bid validity date is 90 (ninety) days.
5. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB as stated above in the table for each Lots in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO (Certified Payment Order).
6.. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Two hundred Birr) for each of document starting from the first appearance of this advertisement on the Ethiopian Addis Zemene for 15 calendar days. The final submission date and opening of the technical proposal will be open on the 16th date of this announcement at 4:00 AM & 4:30 PM local time respectively. If the 16th day is not a working date, it will be held on the next working day.
7. The site visit is advisable.
8. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Qualification application first and financial document of qualified bidders next.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder's Legal representatives who choose to attend at the Regional Pastoral affairs and Special Support Coordination Bureau meeting hall.
10. The SNNPR Pastoral and Special Support affairs Coordination Bureau reserve the right to reject all or parts of bids.
