INVITATION TO GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION

China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd has entered into contract agreement with Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA) for the construction works of Autobus Tera-Mesalemia-18 Mazoria (Kolfe Ring Road) Road Project. Currently. The project is under construction and the Contractor has intended to Subcontract (sublet) the Geotechnical Investigation Services to eligible bidders.
The Contractor. China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd now invites all eligible bidders to submit scaled bids for providing the necessary materials, equipment and manpower for the Geotechnical investigation Works of 4 bridges found within the project mentioned in item 1 above. A complete set of the bidding document can be purchased by any interested bidder on submission of a written application letter with a copy of the latest tax clearance certificate to China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd site Office at the addresses below upon payment of nonrefundable fee of only Birr 400.00 (Four hundred birr)
All bid documents (one original & three copies) shall be produced in different wax-sealed envelopes labeled as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” and must be placed in the bid box at the address of the project office indicated below (6). All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amounting Bin 40,000.00 (Forty Thousand Only) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee. Deadline for bid summation is 15 Calendar days at 10:00 AM beginning from the first announcement on the newspaper at the address in the tender document.
Bidders must pass the minimum qualification criteria for their bid offer to be responsive for evaluation. Unqualified bid offers will not be evaluated.
The China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend, on the submission date & time, at the address in the tender document.
