Cancel Putin, end the war!

I was born in the USSR in 1985. During my years back home I experienced many atrocities which the Russian officials committed towards the country’s citizens. Since 2011, when I received a political refugee status in Estonia, I’ve been watching those atrocities from a distance. They grew like a snowball. Putin did manage well to tear and scatter the Russian people, and to frighten those who remained in the country. Now that seemingly nothing threatens him inside Russia, he attempts to invade Ukraine, and like his inglorious communist and KGB nurturers values a human life at a point below zero. Worldwide.

I never voted for Putin, nor thought a positive thought of him. I’ve despised his watchdogs in uniforms since 2006, when the first blood at the protesters’ demonstrations was shed by the militia. And even though at times I thought there might’ve been at least some good guys in the law-enforcement, the scale of their true deep-blood-rooted brutality revealed open during the years. At a certain point I concluded that I was wrong, and they all — good and bad guys — are nothing but mere accomplices in those terrorist organizations: the police, the Investigative Committee, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Federal Security Service, the National Guard and the long list goes on — the terrorist organizations whose de facto aim is to guard the Supreme Commander and secure any mad decision of his.

Sowing murder, torture, fear and deceit was de facto their agenda inside Russia, and they topped the goals. What can be surprising now that this Rattenkönig is exporting its order to Ukraine and the rest of the world? As much as I’m against this aggression, this war, I’m not surprised to witness it now. We moved towards it for far too long. And I say “we” because the Russian people never made a resolution to turn their back on the watchdogs of Putin, even though this would be the one and only resolution to make from the history of my country. To say nothing about many dozens of people in Europe (except the Baltic states) who told me in the face they liked Putin and thought he was cool.

Some in Russia say they have relatives, friends, lovers among those watchdogs. But the truth is there’s no dignity in rotting at the request of your parent or brother, or classmate or lover. What a civil Russian man gets in return for his devotion to friendship or family is literally a bottle in the guts and every Russian knows that for sure. Now how stupid is that?

Sabotage of the state inside Russia is maybe the only way to stop the war in Ukraine. If Russian people wish to keep the last drop of their dignity, ruining this state is the only way. There can be no respect to the laws nor to the officials of this rotten state. More than that, there can be no respect to people who continue to fulfil official functions, no matter if they are your relatives, friends, lovers or whoever. The only way is to expressly show 100% disrespect to everything which preserves Putin’s regime and keeps him in power — in the office, in the streets, in the bedroom if you unluckily have to share it with an officer.

Cancel Putin and his watchdogs! Annihilate their state from the inside. End this war!

p.s. I wrote this in English because I don’t experience this language as deeply as I experience Russian, and to write in Russian in my emotional state these days is overwhelming, impossible to focus.
