It's tough being the only woman in a man's world.
But Emmanuelle Chriqui sure knows how to stand out. In the May/June issue of Ocean Drive , the 37-year-old Entourage star showed off her curves in a stunning backless swimsuit.
The brunette beauty - who will appear in film version of the popular HBO series in June - also talked about the cast's dynamic off camera.

Emmanuelle has nothing bad to say about her male co-stars which include Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.
'To this day, the guys really are like brothers…maybe they don’t keep in touch on a daily basis, but I really feel like when we do see each other, it’s like coming home.
'If I ever needed one of them, I could call and be like, "I really need you right now," and they would be there.'
Power is everything: The Canadian actress wore a striking black and white separated gown while speaking about the importance of learning and growing within herself
She also talked about the importance of family.
'My mother was a very powerful woman. And she always encouraged me to go after my dreams,' the Canadian actress said.
Losing her mother to cancer at the age of 16, she attributed her current strength to the example set before her.
'I always had this very strong support, it wasn’t until I was older that I was really able to appreciate the gift that she had left me in a short about of time.'

Her role as Sloan McQuewick, the sexy sidekick to the rowdy Entourage boys, required a level of endurance that runs through Chriqui's bloodline.
'My mother was such a fighter. The cancer just devoured her, but to the last moment she fought, and lived life,' she said.
'Two weeks before her death, even though it would take her four hours to get ready, she was very coquettish and she was getting ready and you’d ask, "You need help, Mom?" and she’d say, "Nope." She was going to do it on her own.'

Though Chriqui and her character Sloan share similarities, the brunette beauty describes her alter-ego as 'the most glamorous version of myself. I’m a total tomboy in real life-ask anybody who knows me.
'Sloan is somebody that I could look at and be like, "Wow, I want to be like that; I want to be effortlessly chic and really philanthropic, and I want to breeze through life."
'She’s the kind of person that a lot of people would aspire to [be]- mainly, she’s a good person, whereas the show showed every color of the spectrum of our industry, which isn’t always so nice. There was almost a bit of relief when it came to Sloan.'

Chriqui posted an Instagram photo of her with the cast at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year and tagged the director Doug Ellin.
The star gushed about the film saying, '[It] is like the biggest, most awesome version of the television show…It’s shot so beautifully. Doug Ellin really did an amazing job directing this film.'
'It looks so cinematic…things are nice between her [Sloan] and Eric; they’re not together but they’re co-parenting. And it unravels, as it always does between them,' she revealed.
The Entourage movie is set to premiere on June 3.
