Chelsea Handler said goodbye to both her clothes and Ellen DeGeneres ahead of the talk show host’s final episode.
Handler joined an all-star ensemble of comedians to crack jokes and wish DeGeneres farewell.
The talk show that has been airing for nearly 20 years is set to come to a close May 26. DeGeneres ended the show less than two years after a BuzzFeed News investigation detailed a toxic working environment on the show’s set.
Ratings on the show took a 1 million viewer plunge in 2021 ahead of DeGeneres’ final season, the New York Times reported .
She announced she would voluntarily pull the plug on the show last May.
As the show nears its end, the “Ellen” Twitter account shared a clip featuring the comedian’s farewells on Tuesday.
Handler, in the clip, congratulated the talk show’s nearly two-decade run before taking off her top.
“I would show you my breasts but we’ve already seen them so I’ll just sit like this and tell you that I am so proud of you,” Handler said.
“You are a rock star. You made this work for 19 years and that’s a long f――-g time so go have fun, and you know what that means.”
DeGeneres, who is pictured in the corner of the clip, was speechless and laughed along to Handler’s message.
Comedian David Spade remarked on DeGeneres’ tendencies to scare guests, while Kevin Hart joked that he’d buy DeGeneres soup to eat after her final episode.

Ellen DeGeneres has a very creative -- and erotic -- way of saying goodbye to David Letterman; take a guess. Here's the answer in a nutshell: Ellen strips down for the outgoing longtime master of the Late Show, according to an ET report. And by the way, she does it for Letterman in a creative, yet whimsical way that only the daytime comedy queen can deliver.
Hold your horses, ehem, harps; this one may get shaky along the way. Ahead of his retirement, many celebrities and friends of Dave stopped by and said their goodbyes, while others paid tribute to Letterman from afar.

And without warning, DeGeneres, on the fake Late Night set, stripped off her clothing to reveal her undies (they were pink). She tossed her top onto David's head and her bottoms landed on Paul Shaffer's bald noggin. It was an instant classic. Then, she segued into a musical number.

Ellen stripped for Letterman -- sort of -- but left some parting words before she signed off.

'MediaBuzz' host Howard Kurtz says actress Ellen Page blamed Vice President Mike Pence for the Jussie Smollett attack that never happened.
Ellen Page marked Pride Month in a series of topless Instagram photos with her wife , Emma Portner.
The spouses posed in a black and white photo that showed them about to kiss.
"HAPPY PRIDE!!!" Page, 34, captioned the snap. "Sending love."
It's not the first time the "Juno" star has appeared topless on social media with Portner, 24.
Portner, a former dance teacher, posted two similar series of snapshots on her Instagram account in April, writing on one, "I'm just so grateful to love you. Most inspiring force." In another she captioned it simply, "I love my wife."
Page previously gushed to The Balance of her marriage, “I feel different in the sense that I just love it so much. She’s the love of my life and I don’t really have a word for it other than this brand new, all-encompassing feeling that ... I guess it just feels really grounding and really beautiful. Absolutely I’ve been in love before, and this was definitely a very different new kind and new form, clearly.”
Page came out in 2014 with a rousing speech that earned her a standing ovation at a Human Rights Campaign conference in Las Vegas.
“I’m here today because I am gay and because maybe I can make a difference to help others have an easier and more hopeful time,” she said in the speech, which has been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube. “I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. I’m standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain.”
She married Portner in 2018 after six months of dating.
She told The Balance that since coming out, she's felt an enormous sense of relief.
“I still feel like I’m just becoming able to be who I am and feel comfortable in my body. The difference I felt physically after coming out was just like… you’d have to feel it to believe it.”
