I do on a very regular basis, Originally the mere thought at first of applying electricity to the genital region was very scary. It takes a while for finding the best placement of pads and the desired type and placement of probes , as a woman it was a challenge and took a little time for me, but once it is found you are in profound pleasure and a slice of heaven, according to a very close male friend of mine it is much easier and much more simple for the man to use and according to him he can achieve and orgasm anytime with out even being excited or erect. for me It is the greatest sex toy ever invented and I can use it anywhere, it is silent, very small, a good one is a bit pricey but well worth every penny.
I experienced that once, it was my thrusting rotating masturbator from Nastnova help me get there, but only once……

In my previous features about weird sex products, I’ve done such things as riding a Sybian and made jelly eggs for fantasy alien impregnation , so it was going to take some serious thinking to find anything else as out of the ordinary as those.
And actually, I don’t think that the subject of this feature is particularly weird – but after asking around, it appears that others do.
So – would you attach electrodes to your genitals and then switch on the power?
Electro-sex is big business these days – you can buy vibrators with e-stim capabilities and endless varieties of dildos and butt plugs that are just waiting for you to turn it up to 11. But what’s the real deal here – why is it a turn on to make your tackle tingle?
ElectraStim were kind enough to supply me with a kit to try for myself – I asked Claire Blakeborough from the company just what it is that makes people want to tingle their tender bits.
Electro-sex is a unique form of stimulation that isn’t replicated with other types of vibrating sex toy.
By stimulating the nerve endings with electrical pulses, electro sex toys can provide a deeper and more satisfying range of sensations as your muscles involuntarily clench.
Some people can even achieve ‘hands free orgasms’ with ElectraStim products as the internal stimulation does the hard work for you.
One of the best parts of electro-sex is that you can share it with a partner in such a tactile way.
If you each have an electric self-adhesive pad attached to your skin, anywhere you touch each other will complete the electrical circuit and provide a delicious tingling sensation.
Sparks of passion take on a whole new meaning.
I do have some experience with electro-sex devices – I already own a MyStim vibrator (called Tickling Truman, which makes him sound far less sexy than he actually is). But Truman is definitely on the mild side of the e-stim options, rather than full throttle electro spasm.
So I was pretty excited to try out the Electrastim Flick , even if my partner did look a bit nervous as I gleefully tipped the contents of the parcel out across the bed.
The kit contains wires and electrodes and a palm-sized control unit that looks like it means business.
As well as the sticky pad attachments that come with the standard unit, I was sent some conductive gel (it looks like lubricant but isn’t – you just use a tiny bit of it on the bits you want to zing, as it helps conductivity), a set of adjustable cock rings and a his’n’hers dildo called the Ovid .
I see a lot of sex toys in my line of work , but the Ovid is up there with the best of them.
Fairly small but well-proportioned, it’s designed to suit both men and women. The ‘probe’ shape means that it is good for both G-spot and P-spot (prostate) stimulation.
Dual purpose sex toys that can be used for both the G-spot and the P-spot are brilliant – but never, ever use a toy straight after it’s been up someone’s bottom.
Give it a really good wash (you can use a commercial toy cleaner if you like, but hypoallergenic soap and water will work just fine) before it touches anything else.
You can make things even easier by using a condom – they work brilliantly as disposable hygienic covers (you still need to give everything a rinse though, to be on the safe side).
For all its technical appearance, the ElectraStim kit is really simple to use.
You charge up the Flick control unit via the provided USB lead, then remove it from the charger and plug in the connecting cables.
You now have a box of buzzy excitement just waiting for you to put to good use.
A word of caution – make sure the unit is turned down to its lowest setting before attaching anything to it. This is supposed to be enjoyably tingly, not literally shocking.
An electrastim unit – even at its highest setting – isn’t going to actually electrocute you, but it could give you one hell of a fright.
Remember those ‘slimming’ pads that your mum or nan used to have, with sticky pads that made her stomach muscles twitch like a dying trout? Electro-stimulaton is a bit like that, but a whole heap sexier.
You put a tiny blob of conductive gel on the bit you want to get the feelings from – with the Ovid, it’s best to put the gel near the end, on the probe-y bit (that’s the technical term, honest) – then plug it into the control unit and have yourself some intimate fun.
There’s no getting away from it – it is a very strange feeling indeed to have one’s internal muscles clenching without any conscious effort. Imagine the slimming pads rolled up and shoved where the sun don’t shine – but instead of your six pack pulsing, it’s your nether regions.
If you wriggle it to make contact with your G-spot, then you can really feel the power (literally). I’ve never been entirely convinced I even have a G-spot – and although my Sybian adventure proved that thought wrong, it’s certainly not the magic button for me that it seems to be for other people.
Using the Ovid is very different to playing with a standard vibrator and it takes some getting used to.
I’d recommend trying clitoral stimulation at the same time (I can highly recommend this mini wand from Lovehoney , I’ve been singing its praises everywhere recently), but then I’m greedy.
When my long-suffering partner finally dared to get involved, I suggested we try the ElectraLoop cock ring attachments.
They come in pairs, complete with instructions on how to fit one at the base of the penis and the other underneath the glans.
Once they were fitted nice and snug, I picked up the control unit and – ignoring the nervous whimpering – started it up (on the lowest setting, because I am not a complete sadist).
So it turns out that some people aren’t keen on having electrodes applied directly to their genitals and my boyfriend is definitely one of them.
He said that the sensation was just strange, rather than painful, and that he’d be willing to give it another go ‘under the right circumstances’ – I’m not sure what those circumstances might be, but I’m planning to find out.
I had another trick up my sleeve, anyway.
The pair of sticky pads that are supplied with the kit are exactly the same as those you find on a TENS machine , such as the ones used as pain relief in childbirth (and in fact, you could choose to use them for exactly that purpose, should you so desire).
If you put one pad on yourself and the other on your partner, simply touching their flesh then completes the circuit. You basically have electric hands.
What happened to all the lesbian bars?
The history of the handkerchief code
For safety reasons, the pads should only ever be attached below the waist. But you can touch to make the circuit anywhere on the body. The more contact you have, the less powerful the electric pulse is, because you are spreading the surface connection area.
So if you place the flat of your hand on your partner’s stomach, there is nothing more than a faint prickling sensation.
But should you decide to trail the very tips of your fingers across their body, it concentrates the connection and you can literally zap them in a very pleasing manner indeed (honestly, this is far sexier than I’m making it sound – stick with me).
And – get this – if you each have a pad attached to your inner thigh, then the circuit completes via your genitals and you can hop on and ride your partner like an electric pony. How often do you get to say that?
Electro-sex is definitely gaining in popularity.
Daniel Miller is co-founder of The Kinksters , a specialist adult products supplier based in North Wales who send this stuff all over the world on a regular basis.
Electro-sex is an exciting and amazing way of playing with your partner, or indeed yourself.
For those just starting out and exploring the world of electro-sex, they may start with a slight tingle or tickle across the skin, using surface electrodes such as an electro pinwheel. This is a tiny spiked wheel on a handle which dances across the skin, creating tiny tingles and prickles on the surface.
For those looking for a more intense experience, insertables such as electro butt plugs, dildos and sounds can all provide shockingly sensational experiences, and in some cases, can quite literally lift you off your feet with pleasure.
So if you’ve heard of e-stim but never dared try it – or even if this is the first time anyone’s mentioned it and you’re currently staring at the screen with a ‘WTF?’ expression on your face – you don’t know what you’re missing out on.
Get yourself a kit and plug in, baby!
