My spies in Hollywood tell me the Poldark actress has been filming raunchy sex scenes with Keira Knightley for her first Hollywood flick.
El is starring alongside Keira in Colette, which is based on the true story of one of France’s leading female novelists.
My source says: “The film is super saucy. Eleanor has quite a prim and proper image and this will really shock her fans.
“The film is in the early stages so who knows what will make the cut, but the scenes were very raunchy.”
Eleanor previously told how she was reluctant to strip off for sex scenes in Poldark in which she played Aidan Turner ’s on screen wife Demelza. “I don’t do nudity,” she said. “I don’t feel the need to do it. In fact it’s sexier if you don’t do nudity.”
And last year she spoke of her fears at having her naked images spread around the internet.
She explained: “You can pause and screenshot and suddenly your performance goes out of the window. It becomes about this one sex scene that involved full-frontal nudity and it’s all anyone talks about.”
But she did admit: “I’m not going to say never. If an incredible role came along in which nudity was really important, then I would consider it.”
Meanwhile, Keira has her own nudity policy. She tells film bosses: “You can have the top half but you can’t have the bottom half,” and has previously requested bottom doubles.
A film source tells me Eleanor, 25, hopes the film will help her hit the big time across the pond in La La Land. With Keira by her side, I’m sure anything is possible...
