Summary

Better Logs for Alvys enhances the Logs modal on app.alvys.com. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. All processing happens locally in your browser.

What the extension does

• Listens for the page’s own Logs network responses after you open the Logs modal.
• Renders a clearer interface (filters, compact table, status timeline).
• No accounts, analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs.

Data we access and how it’s used

• Page data (read-only, local-only): We read log JSON responses already provided by app.alvys.com to your browser and render them in the UI.
• Preferences (stored locally): We store UI settings like filters, density, and timeline options using chrome.storage.local.

We do not send data off your device, and we do not combine or share data with any third parties.

Data sharing / selling

• We do not share, sell, or transfer data to anyone.
• We do not use data for advertising or profiling.

Permissions (why we need them)

• Host permissions (https://app.alvys.com/*): Scope the extension to your TMS site only, so it can detect the Logs modal and format its contents.
• Storage: Save local UI preferences (e.g., last filters).
• Scripting / content injection: Insert the code that renders the improved Logs UI.
• activeTab (if present): Only to act on the current tab after your interaction; not used to access other sites.

Data retention & control

• UI preferences live only in your browser’s chrome.storage.local.
• You can remove them by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data.

Security

• All logic runs in the browser.
• No remote code execution; all executable code ships within the extension package.

Children

The extension is intended for enterprise users of app.alvys.com and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date and publish the new version at the same URL.
