You will operate where data analysis meets personal engagement. At one point, you're examining performance metrics to detect early warning signs and support placement decisions with evidence-based logic. What You Will Be Doing
* Review and interpret student performance metrics to generate clear, decision-ready academic reports that enable rapid intervention
* Take full ownership of academic results for a designated student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and corrective actions
* Lead focused academic intervention sessions that uncover underlying issues and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
* Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish between conceptual misunderstandings and procedural errors, then prescribe specific remediation steps
* Partner with academic leadership and family support teams to escalate concerns and refine systems or resources

* Producing reports that sit unused in folders
* Operating exclusively in the background without direct student engagement
* Delegating academic ownership to instructors, tutors, or families
* Delivering generic tutoring without a clear diagnostic purpose
* Allowing weeks to pass before addressing emerging academic concerns
Education Data Analyst Key Responsibilities
Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning outcomes for assigned student groups.
Basic Requirements
* Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or verifiable feedback
* Minimum 1 year of sustained, direct experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this standard)
* Background in data science, education, EdTech, or student services that integrates analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
* Fluency in both Ukrainian and English, spoken and written
* Advanced skills in Google Sheets, including lookups, filtering, pivot tables, and visualization
* High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish rapid trust with students and families
* Documented application of AI tools to streamline data analysis or workflow automation with quantifiable improvements

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
