You will operate at the nexus of data analysis and interpersonal engagement. At one point, you are examining performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placement decisions with sound rationale. At another, you are working directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstandings on the spot and guiding them forward before minor challenges escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive data delivery. You are responsible for measurable results.

What You Will Be Doing
* Examine student performance data and generate clear, usable academic reports that drive prompt interventions
* Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, including placement decisions, testing protocols, and corrective actions
* Deliver fast-response academic support sessions that pinpoint underlying issues and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
* Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish conceptual gaps from execution errors and prescribe focused remediation
* Partner with academic leadership and family engagement teams to flag risks and refine systems or workflows
What You Won’t Be Doing
* Creating reports that sit unused
* Operating entirely in the background without direct student engagement
* Delegating academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or families
* Conducting unfocused tutoring without diagnostic intent
* Allowing weeks to pass before addressing emerging student challenges
Education Data Analyst Key Responsibilities
Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your designated student groups.
Basic Requirements
* At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
* At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
* Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
* Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
* Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
* High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
* Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
