Hi guys, I got a 1406 edelbrock carb, bought new and its been rebuild for the first time, I bought the idle mixture screws because the old ones were messed up, Is installed on my Chevy but when I try to adjust them doesn't do anything , the idle its good but its a little rich If you have a set of brass idle mixture screws in your carb, trash them and find a correct set of factory screws . Then start the engine and see where the timing is 3/4 turn seems to give me the smoothest idle and good acceleration .
