Ecologist: despite precipitation, the level of the Dniester reservoir continues to decrease

According to Ilya Trombitsky, the water level has now dropped below 115 meters above sea level and stands at 114.93 meters. The water flow into the lower reaches of the Dniester hydroelectric complex is kept at a level of just over 100 m/s.

The ecologist noted that heavy rains are expected in the Carpathians in the coming days, which may affect the hydrological situation and partially stabilize the reservoir level.

"Despite the rains, the situation remains negative for now, but precipitation in the Carpathians can correct it," Trombitsky said.
