EU complains about Chinese duties

The European Commission said that Chinese duties on dairy products from the EU are unreasonably high and violate WTO rules. Duties of up to 28.8% were introduced by Beijing at the end of 2025.

The issue is critical for Lithuania: China is the second largest export market for Lithuanian dairy companies, and powdered milk accounts for up to 15% of the country's total dairy exports.
