ERASMUS+ CBHE 2026 RESULTS ANNOUNCED!
Out of the 180 projects selected for funding under the 2026 Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Call, 11 projects involve higher education institutions (HEIs) from Central Asia. Of these, 9 projects include partners from Uzbekistan, while 4 projects are coordinated by Uzbek higher education institutions as Grant Holders:
🔹 ALFRAGANUS UNIVERSITY (Erasmus+ CBHE UNI2CARE)
🔹 Al-Khwarizmi University (Erasmus+ CBHE WASTE-UZ)
🔹 Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute (Erasmus+ CBHE UzEcoDigiT)
🔹 Fergana State University (Erasmus+ CBHE FOOD4FUTURE)
In total, 17 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan (representing Tashkent, Khorezm, Bukhara, Andijan, Fergana, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan) are participating in these projects. The total budget allocated for Central Asia (Region 6) is approximately €6.5 million. In addition, 27 universities and relevant ministries from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan are also involved.
🆕 Three Uzbek higher education institutions are participating in Erasmus+ CBHE projects for the first time. These include two public and one private institution:

🔹 Nukus Branch of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology
🔹 Nordic International University
For information, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan participates in 2 projects. In addition, 7 non-academic organisations from Uzbekistan are involved, including:
