Dynamic Flashing Guide

Dynamic Gapps build is encrypted by default (FBEv2+casefolding) and based on EROFS system.
Dynamic Vanilla build is encrypted by default (FBEv2+casefolding) and based on EXT4 system (Rising v5.2.1 A14 EOL/HOTFIX only).

Legacy to Dynamic flashing (encrypted)

• Flash OrangeFox dynamic recovery : Here

• Flash legacy2retrofit zip : Here

• Flash A11 firmware (if coming from miui or older roms)

• Flash ROM

• Format data

• Reboot to system (If possible, after the initial setup, go to Recovery and format the data again to avoid issues related to storage permissions.)

• Enjoy

Dirty flashing from previous build

• Flash ROM

• Flash Gapps (if vanilla build)

• Flash DFE Neo (if decrypted user)

• Wipe dalvik+cache

• Reboot

• Enjoy

Clean flashing from previous build without format data/internal storage

• Flash ROM

• Flash Gapps (if vanilla build)

• Flash DFE Neo (if decrypted user)

• Wipe data+dalvik+cache

• Reboot

• Enjoy

Notes:

- If your data partition on ext4 then after format data change the data partition to f2fs.

- You can't flash GApps packages on EROFS, so if you want GApps support, you need to flash a GApps build. (Excluding the RisingOS v5.2.1 A14 EOL/HOTFIX vanilla build)

- Flash this add-on in recovery to get Settings search bar in vanilla build (only applicable for RisingOS v5.2.1 A14 EOL/HOTFIX vanilla build).

Answer :

• Flash non dynamic/normal recovery
