Haunted by the past, Aiden eventually chooses to confront it when he learns that Mia may still be alive. That trail leads him to Villedor — the last major city left standing on Earth.

The last city of mankind

Fifteen years ago, humanity was shattered by the Fall, a catastrophe that changed the world forever. As the Harran virus spread across the globe, hope for tomorrow faded quickly. By 2036, only a handful of settlements remain, and humanity is steadily losing ground to the new dominant force in this world — relentless hordes of infected. Welcome to Villedor, one of the last bastions of humankind. By day, people still try to live, dream, trade, and pretend that life can continue as normal. But when the sun goes down, the city reveals its true face. With the final light fading away, darker and deadlier creatures pour into the streets — and if you stay out too long, you may never make it back.

Parkour, freedom, and survival on the move

In Dying Light 2, not every fight is meant to be won. Sometimes the smartest move is to run — and that’s where the game truly comes alive. Its fluid parkour system turns the city into a massive playground of motion and risk. Leap across rooftops, swing through the skyline, ride ziplines, search remote corners for loot, and escape the horrors below by staying one step ahead. A city divided

Aiden quickly finds himself caught in a settlement torn apart by conflict. To survive, you’ll need to do more than battle the infected — you’ll need to make allies, choose sides, and navigate the tensions between the different forces struggling for power inside the city.

Surviving Villedor is much easier with help. Team up with up to 4 players in co-op, experience the story together, take on Pilgrim Outpost challenges, or simply unleash chaos across the city streets.
